- Sleeping arrangements: This single-story home can sleep up to six guests. The primary bedroom features a king bed and private bathroom. In the second bedroom is a queen bed, while the third bedroom is home to a full-size bed.
- Main level: Step into a comfortable and cozy great room with plenty of plush seating surrounding the fireplace and mounted TV. This rental is here to keep you entertained with board games, puzzles, books, and movies. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to make this your home away from home.

- River Haven on the New River is conveniently located between the towns West Jefferson and Boone. WJ is the closest, less than 15 minutes away, but Boone is a short drive as well at just around 25 minutes.
- Downtown WJ is home to a variety of breweries, restaurants, and retail shops that reflect the region's charm. For a taste of the High Country's craft beers, stop by New River Brewing to sample local brews. When you're ready to eat, there's no shortage of options. Red Dog Bar & Bistro and Craft Bistro in the Old Artists' Theatre are fantastic choices if you want a more upscale dining experience. After dinner, hit the rooftop bar at Old Hotel before settling in at Boondocks to catch a live band.
- Take advantage of your proximity to the river. Bring swimsuits, goggles, tubes, boats—anything you might need to enjoy the New River to its fullest. If you're lucky, you might even spot one of the region's famous yet stealthy hellbenders. Want to paddle? The closest outfitter is RiverGirl Fishing Co., or you can venture out a bit further to northern Ashe County to find Zaloo's Canoes.
- Boone and the nearby town of Blowing Rock make for a great day trip. Catch an App State football game, ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway, and explore the many shops of King Street, the main drag in Boone.
