We were visiting Toronto, specifically to visit the Hockey Hall of Fame & other Toronto destinations. This home is in what looks like a brand new quiet community and about 40 minutes from downtown accounting for traffic but it was an easy drive. There was shopping and dining within 15 minutes so we easily could buy what we needed for food or essentials. The home was perfect for our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, each had a comfortable queen bed. The kitchen had the basics. We couldn’t find a griddle pan or large mixing bowl to make pancakes but we made due with what was available. We were there during summer and the AC kept the home comfortable. The spare rooms had fans but the primary did not but because the AC kept the house cool it wasn’t an issue. The primary has an en-suite with a walk in shower which was nice not having to share with the kids. Basic bathroom essentials were available but we did miss a set of washcloths and hand towels. We could only find large bath towels but again made due with what was available. There is also a washing machine and dryer that we did end up having to use so that was nice. The 1-car garage was useful but doesn’t have an automatic opener. The tv did have Netflix so we were able to watch tv in the evenings. Keep in mind you’ll need to bring your own board games or cards if that’s something you like to do with any downtime. WiFi was available & worked fine. Overall we would definitely stay here again.
