Why Karen Harris chose Hiawassee
This property, The Honey Lodge, is in a cozy setting among trees and the mountains. A private setting. Two steps to the porch and living area with the master on the main with a beautiful view of the mountains of Brasstown Bald. Only one mile off main hwy 76 and one mile to the middle of Hiawassee. Ingles Grocery is very nice with a Starbucks inside. Very peaceful and you can hear the stream after a rain.
What makes this Cabin unique
This true log home is only one mile off the main road, hwy 76 in Hiawassee Georgia. The home is secluded and has many hardwood trees around the home with plenty of parking. What is unique about this home is it has a beautiful view of the North Ga. mountains which is the national forest so no other homes are seen on the view along with a Lake Chatuge view. Very close to shopping and dinning, about 2 miles. This is a great home to get away and relax with nature. Now with a new whirlpool hot tub and hammock.

Fantastic cabin with beautiful views!
We had an incredible time at the Honey Lodge. The cabin is beautifully decorated and was very clean and comfortable. The drive up the mountain is easy to maneuver, even for this Florida native. Karen, the owner, is very sweet. She takes pride in the cabins she owns and is very responsive to any questions you have. We cannot wait to return again next year.
Clean, beautiful and homey.
This was a wonderful trip for our family. Karen and Vince were so nice and helpful. Our dog and toddler both had a great time. Cabin was very cozy and clean!
We had an awesome time in the mountains. Honey lodge is outstanding !!
Karen Harris is awesome, Very helpful and a pleasure to work with. The cabin “Honey Lodge” was a comfortable and beautiful place to stay. My wife and I would recomend this cabin to anyone !!
We loved the cabin, the view from the porch, fresh cool mornings and evenings. Highly recommended!
The cabin is beautiful, well equipped. The view is amazing; morning coffee on the porch overlooking the mountains was our favorite part of the day. Both cabin and the view are much better than what pictures show. Even on hot days the cabin area was fresh and cool. Kids had their own bedrooms and living room downstairs. The last half a mile drive up is steep and curvy, so you have to kearn to navigate that.
Strong wi-fi, we were even able to stream movies.
Five minutes away from town and many attractions are in close proximity. We hiked, did water sports on Lake Chetuge, river tubing, or just chilling out on the porch. Would come back to that cabin and to the area. Our vacation was awesome and relaxing.
A fantastic, pet friendly, family friendly place!
Our family loved this rental. It was clean and exactly as pictured. The hot tub and the porch with a view were awesome. We liked that the parents had the main level and the kids had their own space on the lower level. The road up and the driveway was tricky but totally doable. It is all part of mountain living. We had family staying in local resorts that were jealous of our amazing accommodations. Karen was very responsive and easy to work with. We are planning to stay at one of her properties again.
Amazing views, and nice cabin. Spent hours soaking in the scenery.
Hiawassee is a beautiful, peaceful town, so you can 'get away' from the city. This home now has a hot tub with a view of the North Georgia Mountains. The Georgia Mountain fair goes on twice a year in Hiawassee, along with several other activities at the fairground and concert of famous singers. There is a mountain beach and playground for kids and teens. The German Alpine village, Helen Georgia is only 25 mins away and Gatlinburg Tenn. is a beautiful 2 hour drive. Lake Chatuge is in town and is one of the most beautiful lakes in Georgia with fishing, boating and swimming.
