Please note that this house is not an instant booking. In other words, once you have made a reservation request, the owner will send a standard short term lease for you to review and complete. This standard lease must be completed within 24 hours otherwise Vrbo will decline your request automatically.

In respect to our home and our neighbors, no parties or loud noise is allowed as indicated in our standard short term lease.

THE HOUSE:

If you have a vehicle, there is a reserved parking space for 1 car with an additional fee. The indoor parking space is located directly across the street from the house.

Washer and Dryer are located in the basement.

The first floor includes a sitting area, a Queen size Murphy bed (sleep 2), a convertible sofa bed (twin size bed_sleep 1) and a full bath.

The second floor is a private open floor plan studio, which includes 1 Queen size bed (sleep 2), 1 Full size bed (sleep 2), a white leather convertible sofa bed (twin size bed_sleep 1), kitchenette and a half bath.

The third floor has a professional grade stove, generous space for dining, entertainment, half bath and a lovely fireplace nook. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, cooking utensils, and appliances for a home-cooked meal.

The fourth floor has two bedrooms. Each room has one full size bed (sleep 2). The floor also contains a custom walk-in closet and a full bath.

Curious about what makes Boston so well known? We invite you to experience what it’s like to live as a local in our four story historic red-brick home nestled in downtown Boston. The home is located in a safe and quiet neighborhood with convenient public transportation: the Green, Red, Orange, and Silver Line are all within walking distance. Additionally, supermarkets are a 7-10 minutes walk from the house.

This location makes it perfect for visitors to tour historical landmarks that are perfect for all ages: a stroll in the Boston Common and the Public Garden, sightseeing along the freedom trail, SOWA open-air farmer and artist markets and delicious food at Chinatown, Faneuil Hall and North End.

Colleges within commuting distance are Tufts Dental, Tufts, Harvard, MIT, Suffolk, Boston College, Boston University, Emerson, Berkeley and more!

Very well laid out, lots of supplies of everything we needed, for all nine of us. Excellent location relative to transportation and important sights and landmarks. Very clear and timely communication with the host. We would definitely stay here again.

Great spot for a family group

Stayed for 4 nights as a family of 5. Lots of space, basically a floor each! Quirky but great house in a location easy to reach all the Boston attractions either by foot or public transport or rideshare. Plenty of stairs to keep you fit though! House is well equipped although we mostly ate out, and all instructions clear so no need to reach out for any help. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely place, easy communication

The home is fantastic. Interesting, cozy, and in the perfect location. The host was clear with instructions and rules, was helpful when we needed it, then let us enjoy our stay. Easy and pleasant.

Central location

We enjoyed our time at this unit, centrally located for what our plans in Boston were. Please read the description about the stairs from the first through the fourth floor as they are not what you are used to in modern construction, and a relatively steep and narrow. People with mobility problems need to look for other accommodations. If I had one or two things to recommend to the owner, it would be to upgrade the electronics as far as televisions and Wi-Fi. Where there is both of those things now, a little more modern, and potentially bigger units would be expected for a rental at this rate.

Lots of room in a good location. We were able to walk to a lot of places or easily get to the subway. There were six adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. We would stay here again.

Central & Spacious Stay

This old tenement/town home has been wonderfully kept. It's a very unique and historic building, but with modern amenities. It looks even better than the photos in our experience. All four floors have plenty of storage and living space. With 8 guests, we had more than enough space. We ended up having two beds be shared, as the foldouts weren't super comfortable, but the beds were. The kitchen is well stocked and that floor in particular is really fun for hanging out. The location couldn't be better. Five minutes to the nearest metro station (that will also take you direct from the airport). Walkable and close to stores and restaurants. Safe and clean neighborhood. Host was very communicative throughout the whole process. Couldn't have asked for a better trip!

Wonderful experience

This charming house is in a great location. Minutes walk from the orange line station and less than 10 minutes walk from a really great Whole Foods store. The property has everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Nice Location

It’s Chinatown. You have Whole Foods and CVS within walking distance for goods. It’s close to Orange Line (4 min walk) and green line (10 min walk). Take T to Fenway in 25 minutes or so. We hit all the highlights of the city from this location. Slept 8 comfortably. Beds could be more comfortable but not something I would give a negative review. I recommend this property.

Great location and well-appointed accommodations

A group of 8 friends stayed for a long weekend. We loved the location and the place was super clean. We cooked a few meals in the well-stocked kitchen. Thankful for the early check-in option. We walked to many local sights and felt safe in the neighborhood. All the beds were comfy and there was a great assortment of blankets and pillows. Would definitely stay again!
