Incredible location in beacon hill, right next to the red line of the T. Apartment was perfect size and having two bathrooms for our group of 3 plus a toddler was ideal. Would highly recommend!
Pictures did not do this place justice. It was clean, and the perfect amount of space for our family of 4. Beds were comfortable on our picky backs. Location was great for walking many places—and the subway stop was only 5 minutes away for those further out tourist stops (Fenway!). It was a quiet neighborhood. For longer stays, bring your own soaps and pantry items (they did have salt, pepper, tea, and coffee).
Nice updated apartment on Beacon Hill, steps from Mass General, the river and Esplanade, and the Charles/MGH T stop. It was perfectly clean when I arrived and the check-in was easy. The interior is neat and modern, especially by Beacon Hill standards, and I had everything I needed for the kitchen, bed, and bathrooms. Very comfortable bed. The host responded to questions quickly.
Found the apartment easily and settled right in. The space was clean & gracious--especially lovely to have two bathrooms (!) We slept soundly and headed out the door first thing each AM... couldn't be more conveniently located!
Location was top notch… especially July 4th weekend. Easy to climb stairs to unit and the door codes were convenient. Very clean and two toilets were nice. Little neighborhood convenience stores 5 minutes walk if you need something. Cons: No soap in shower so pack a bar. A/c units loud and hard to sleep with. Bedrooms are tiny, but fine. FYI’s not mentioned… there are actually visitor parking spots within the neighborhood and we got one a 2 minute walk from unit. Free Friday after 6pm until Monday am. Also, there is a rooftop deck which would have been nice to know for the July 4th fireworks.
The location is excellent and the unit is indeed charming, and we had a wonderful time. That said, the property is located on a hill and the stairs up to the unit are steep so it is a bit of a challenge if one has any mobility issues. Seating (and sleeping) for 4 grown adults was a little tight but we managed well. The unit was quiet and well appointed (the washing machine was a great bonus) and we had a lovely time.
Family of four stayed here for my daughter’s college graduation. This is a wonderful apartment in Beacon Hill, and while not a large space, it felt just right for our three-day stay. The location is central to everything and the charm of Beacon Hill can’t be beat. The apartment was extremely clean, excellent communication with Jay, who was accommodating and helpful with requests we had. All necessary essentials plus extras were provided, and this was greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend this adorable apartment.
A wonderful unit - we stayed over the long Thanksgiving holiday and weekend and the location in Beacon Hill was perfect. Very well equipped, cozy, comfortable beds, and a great den/kitchen space. Excellent host! We will rent here again!
The place was clean, check in was smooth, easy, but the place is VERY small. The second bedroom could not accommodate suitcases so our teenage daughters had to have all of their clothes and personal belongings in the living area, which was already very cramped. Parking was not communicated to us and we did not realize there was no parking on-site. We ended up in the hospital parking garage paying 49 per day because no other options were coming up as available. The walk to the unit is uphill and there was a great deal of trash on the sidewalks compared to other parts of the area we walked through. The window A/C units did the job of cooling the place down, but with all 3 going at the same time, it was quite noisy. We left a night early and opted for a hotel room that we actually felt was more spacious and conducive to our family’s needs.
Stayed here for a long weekend mid-March (cold and rainy weather, down to 20’s at night). Check in was very easy. Location was great for walking around. Apartment had a wrapper and napkin under one bed, and lots of hair on the only rug. There was no dish soap, only hand soap. There was a dishwasher. No soap in shower, so bring your own. The issue was that the second day the heat went out. We contacted the property manager who told us there should be space heaters in the closet, but there were none (we assume some units had space heaters). The apartment got very cold, was 50 degrees when waking up, which was very cold and made for a miserable night/morning. Heat was off all the next day as well. It was very cold. Property manager finally got us a space heater that night (we left very early the next morning). Contacted manager for a partial refund and was unsatisfied with communications, even after involving VRBO.
Property perfect location and well appointed. Very clean except trash can in one bathroom had not been emptied. Full kitchen with everything one needs, very comfortable furniture, quiet. Washer dryer. Host responsive. Only other thing that another reviewer mentioned is stairwell from entrance up one flight to apt at top of stairs is steep, has very narrow stairs, and curves sharply at top. The ascent is def worth it though!!! This is an awesome property.
