Wonderful Place to Stay!
This is a lovely home in an astonishing setting. Gorgeous views from every window and a rushing creek and shady bank just steps from the back of the house. Lundy House is in a great location for easy day trips to Bodie Historic State Park, the June Lake Loop, Virginia Lakes, and Mammoth Lakes. Lundy House is just three miles from Lundy Lake and the beginning of the Lundy Canyon Trail. Mono Lake is right down the road. It's a sweet, roomy place to stay.
Perfect location and surroundings.
My wife, two granddaughters and I had a wonderful four nights at the Lundy House. The outside scenery was very reminiscent of our many years visiting the beautiful Eastern Sierras. The house itself was quite comfortable and well appointed. We hope to return, thank you Marty!
Lundy Canyon magic.
Beautiful home, perfect location. Pictures don't do it justice. Spacious, high ceilings, situated on a lovely creek. Easy access to a plethora of hiking trails all within less than an hour's drive. This lovely home has many spaces for all to have privacy for yoga, meditation, etc. after long day hikes. We adored our stay. Have rented many VRBO/AirBnb homes and this is on top of the list for beauty, spaciousness, comfort, and convenience.
We spent an awesome week at this house which is in a great location. We hiked many areas in the Eastern Sierras that were all a short drive away. The creek running behind the house was a nice background to relaxing evenings and slow mornings. Also, a short drive to both Lee Vining and Bridgeport for supplies or restaurants.
Great house, Great location
I've stayed at this house for the last three years and love it every time. The location is perfect as you are minutes away from Lundy Lake, the Virginia Lakes, Mono Lake, and Leee Vining. The owners have been very nice and accommodating to meet our travel needs. I will definitely come back next year.
