Flexible for any guest combination, w/various dining spots and breakfast nook, multiple workstations, 3bedrooms and 2baths. Woodburning fireplace creates the perfect den - great for family game nights, cozy snuggles or projected movies. The fun continues upstairs with a separate bar and movie room with bonus foldout bed.

Work retreat

Needed a quiet place for a one day work retreat, and everything was just as we read online. We would have no problem booking this place again. Host was very easy to communicate with.

Peaceful as can be

The home is charming, cozy, well stocked and on a lake so peaceful and quiet that we truly felt unplugged. Beds, linens, towels are quality. The layout could be a challenge for anyone who may find steps difficult- it's a split level. I couldn't give 5-stars for cleanliness for 3 reasons: there was an ant population in the kitchen we were battling; a large area rug on the sun porch that was soaked from a recent rain storm and a musty smell in a couple rooms. Take away those & I would happily stay again.

Starting with positives, communication was excellent, very helpful, easy to work with and fixed all issues in a timely manner! Reasons i will choose other places over this home: had to fill out rental agreement and give large deposit which i find most properties don't require and ties up money for a couple months, not a huge deal but an inconvenience. Upstairs bathroom had a horrible septic smell that I'm sure they will take care of as they seem like good owners. The thing that bothered me the most was surprised that they don't allow the thermostat to go over 60 degrees, we stayed while temps were very low and 60 degrees is cold inside temp, they did override the system after communication so we were able to turn it up but when paying for rental that should never be an issue. They did say first bundle of wood was included for fire but the 5 small pieces wouldn't had been enough to start a fire, once we bought more wood the fireplace was very enjoyable.
