Welcome to Emerald Point on the Mount Morris chain of lakes! This beautiful custom built home includes 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths with level lake frontage on 3 sides of the property. Lake views from every room! A chef's kitchen, with granite countertops, 5 burner gas stove, and other high-end appliances, has all of the kitchen basics to comfortably cook and dine during your stay. High speed internet, Netflix, and other modern amenities give the convenience of home with the relaxation of lake life.

*Summer Activities *
Lake Morris is steps from the backyard, ready for you to enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating in the full recreation areas. The main house pier on Lake Morris has a shallow entry shoreline located in the no-wake area of the lake that is for great swimming. Two kayaks, 1 stand up paddle board, pedal boat, lake raft, and life jackets are available on site for renter use to get out on the water. Paddle through the adjacent water channel (under the pedestrian footbridge) to Emerald Lake and enjoy a serene ride on the quiet, no-wake lake. Inquire about our pontoon rental for even more lake activities during your stay! Additional kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and boat rentals are available down the road at the Mt Morris Mill. A private neighborhood sandy beach is a short 3-minute walk over the pedestrian footbridge for even more lake fun options.

The Mt Morris lakes are a five-lake chain covering 172 acres of water. The five lakes are known from north to south as Lake Alsfon (A), Lake Russel (B), Lake Hannah (C), Lake Morris (D), and Emerald Lake (E), accessed by a channel under the foot bridge. We're located at the peninsula of Lake Morris and Emerald Lake with access to both lakes! There is a conveniently located public boat launch on Lake Morris at the Mt Morris Town Park and Boat Landing near the house. The park hosts a playground, volleyball courts, and shelter for gathering.

Go check out the nearby Trading Post which hosts live music and serves excellent fish fries and homemade pizza. If supper clubs are your style, the Silvercryst Supper Club in Wautoma is must. Bohn Lake Ice Age Trail parking 20 minutes away for summer and winter exploration. In the summertime Nordic Mountain offers FREE biking trails that cover 104 acres. Nearby golf courses include Waushara Country Club and Two Oaks North Golf Club. Lawsonia Golf Course 40 minutes away. Sand Valley Golf Resort 50 minutes away.

Grocery stores and shopping within 10 minutes in Wautoma.

Cleaning fee and security deposit required.

Cameras: We have a front doorbell camera and an outdoor, outward-facing camera at the back of the house to keep an eye on our dock during storms and events. There are no indoor cameras or voice command units (i.e. Alexa). There are Wi-Fi extenders throughout the house to stretch the signal to the outdoor areas.

Policies:
- no smoking/vaping (subject to fine of the entire damage deposit amount if smoke smell found present in the house during cleaning)
- must be 25 years old to rent
- no events, parties or large gatherings
- 4 vehicles maximum can be parked in private driveway, no street parking available. Inquire if additional parking space is needed.

* Winter Activities* There are several things to do during the winter months to keep you busy. Once the lake freezes over bring your ice fishing gear and walk outside to Lake Morris or Emerald Lake to set the tip ups. Bring your cross country skis or snow shoes to explore the frozen chain of lakes. Check out Nordic Mountain Ski Hill (https://www.nordicmountain.com/ ) for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing for all ages just 5 minutes down the road from the house. Ski rentals are available at the hill. The mountain hosts events and other activities throughout the season, check out their Events Calendar. Our small garage off the driveway offers a safe space out of the elements for skis and winter gear storage.

Snowmobile trails are located nearby with access directly on State Highway 152, just a quarter mile down Emerald Lane. Waushara County also offers many snowmobile and snow shoe trails (www.co.waushara.wi.us) to explore. Ask us about trailer storage during your stay, if needed.
