Welcome to the Loon Star Lodge on Deer Lake, one of the premere lakes in Minnesota. Enjoy all of the best of Minnesota Lake Life from our beautiful, peaceful log home. Enjoy views of the lake from the comfort of the house, deck, dock or firepit areas.

The lake bottom is sandy and perfect for swimming or you can dock your boat at our dock!

Deer Lake has some of the best Musky, Walleye and Bass fishing in Minnesota with clarity averaging 13` it`s unforgettable

Deer Lake is 4000+ acres of clear blue water and sandy bottoms. You can choose your own lake adventure from the peace of our private lakeshor or take your boat from our dock and head out to enjoy the fun this great lake has to offer

In the winter you have access 7-8 miles to the Snowmobile Trail Access or directly across the lake and onto the trails from the access one mile away. Please take care not to ride snowmobiles in the yard over our septic system. There is ample parking at the top of the hill by the garage for one -2 trailers

Our cabin features all of the spaces you need your group or treat yourself to a luxurious stay with all of your favorite amenities. Your group can enjoy the open kitchen, dining and great room with loft lounge

- Three Bedrooms, two with king beds, and day bed with trundle in the loft
- Two full bathrooms (one on each floor) plus a poweder room on the main floor

The house, garage and all amenities are included so please make yourself feel at home! You will have easy access with a keypad at the front door for self check-in.

Please let me know if there is anything that will make your stay better. It is my goal that this space be an escape and retreat for you however I am available at all times for emergencies and during standard hours to answer and resolve any non-emergency issues.

It is extremely helpful to have good contact information available for a member of your party in the event I need to contact you to resolve issues or provide information. If we need to stop by for any reason I will do my best to contact you ahead of time but we will keep any disruptions to an absolute minimum.

The Loon Star Lodge is located in a peaceful & quiet lake community.
~All guests must be considerate of others in the neighboring area. Noise disturbances will not be tolerated.(quiet hours are between 10pm-8am).

The closest public lake access on Deer Lake is located just 1.1 miles west on North Bass Lake road at: 47.35847, -93.6927 - please plan to launch any personal watercraft from this or any other access on Deer Lake.

Outpost Gas Station and God`s Country Outfitters on Hwy 38 are just 10 miles away.

Please note: Exterior of property is monitored by surveillance cameras for the safety and security of our guests and our property. Please do not cover or disable the cameras in any way.

PLEASE NOTE: The driveway to the house is steep and can be slippery in inclement weather - please exercise caution. All/Four Wheel Drive vehicles are recommended in slippery conditions. Please park trailers at the top of the hill, space at the bottom of the hill by the house is limited.

SEASONAL CANCELLATION POLICY IN PLACE:
SUMMER (May - August):
Cancel up to 30 days before check-in for a full refund
Cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, but after the 24-hour cancellation period & receive 50% refund
Cancel less than 14 days before check-in - no refund

WINTER (September - April):
Cancel up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund
Cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, but after the 24-hour cancellation period - receive 50%
Cancel less than 7 days before check-in - no refund

Please respect check-in and check-out times (unless we have agreed on other arrangements)
Please park all boats and trailers at the top of the hill by the garage. There is not sufficient space in the parking area next to the house to accommodate trailers of any kind.
Please plan to launch any personal motorized watercraft at one of the many public access locations on the lake.
Please use the dryer or towel racks in the bathrooms to dry any wet beach towels and swimsuits, please do not leave wet items sitting on the floor.
Please be careful if moving any furniture so floors are not damaged
The cabin is located in a peaceful & quiet lake community. All guests staying at the home must be considerate of others in the neighboring area. Noise disturbances will not be tolerated. Quiet hours are between 10pm-8am
No Smoking of any kind indoors. Smoking is allowed outdoors take care to dispose of any smoking related refuse responsibly in the receptacle provided, do not bring it indoors - a $200 penalty will be charged for violations or debris discovered and disposed of by our cleaning crew
No Parties or Events without express permission - please contact us to confirm
We are sorry but we can NOT accommodate your Pets
All Guests must be registered, if the size of your party changes please contact us Additional Guests (beyond 6 guests) may be allowed with permission and for an additional fee - Please contact us with questions

All outdoor fires must remain contained in the fire pit, no more than 3` tall & observe any local burning restrictions
Please DO NOT flush anything except toilet paper down the toilet No cooking oil down any drains
PLEASE BE CAREFUL NEAR THE LAKE AT ALL TIMES - we accept no responsibility for your safety on or near the lake
Any game or fish cleaning must be done outdoors. PLEASE thoroughly clean the fish cleaning space after use - violations will result in a $200 penalty to cover additional cleaning costs
