Fall vacation

  • 3 of 5

I don't usually write a review, but I always read the reviews before I book. So here goes:

I booked this home in mid March. I never received any information via email or regular mail about the house and our rental agreement. I called several times before I got a receipt for the first paymet, never received any rental info, ever.

I made the last payment one month prior to our arrival and was told the manager would meet us at the house with all instructions. She did meet us as told. Thank goodness, because I had nothing in writing. The house was nice, clean, comfortable; however, the heat did not work. Repairman came but had to order a part. Guess what...... it never got fixed. The manager said she would "comp" us for the inconvenience of no heat. But as of today, November 10, I have not received any refund of any sort. We enjoyed the house, even though we had no heat or air. The gas fireplace came in handy. And of course we could open the windows. This house has 3 bedrooms, the master, a second bedroom with 2 full size beds and 3rd bedroom with a single bed, trundle bed, and upper loft single bed. Well, my husband and I ended up in the 3rd bedroom. Imagine a 70 year old climbing a ladder each night to go to bed!

This house would be ok if the 3rd bedroom was for children, but it sure wasn't good for old folks. We had a nice time in spite of these things; however, I will not stay here again.

Family Reunion

  • 5 of 5

We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful home for five short days. What a suprize when we arrived. Everyone agreed...it was nicer than the pictures on the enternet. This wonderful home was just rustic enough to fit with the surrounding property, but very tastefully done. The kitchen was very Tuscany, my personal favorite was the Master Bedroom with screen-end porch. Wonderful to hear the flow of water over the water wheel. We cannot recommend this 'Get-Away' property enough.

Perfect for Girlfriends Weekend

  • 5 of 5

The house looks like it is right out of a magazine and the yard with waterfall was such a gorgeous setting. The layout was perfect for our group, open living area and 4 bathrooms! Kitchen was well stocked and there were multiple sitting areas both inside and out. The hot tub was a treat and Susie met us upon arrival with a friendly welcome and a wealth of info. Her recommendation of Never Blue in Hendersonville was spot on. We are already planning to return next year.

A walk in the clouds...

  • 5 of 5

This home is so cozy! We were greeted by the property manager, who gave us a tour of the house, and rundown of all the places to visit in Hendersonville and Asheville. She was so friendly and willing to come at any time upon our arrival. The house feels like an escape from the outside world (much needed coming from NYC), set in the woods on a beautiful natural waterfall. The woods were all lit up for the holidays with twinkling lights, it was GORGEOUS, they went above and beyond. We were close enough to town, and it is very easy to navigate back and forth. The house was clean, the beds made with the softest linens, it felt like a true “home away”. I highly recommend visiting this beautiful home with your friends and family.
