Great location

We loved our family stay at the Peacock Cottage. It was convenient to the beach and very close to Alys Beach and Rosemary Beach for dining and shopping options. Having the pool just steps away was great for keeping an eye on the kids. We will definitely be back!

Cottage was well appointed, clean and very comfortable Host had everything you need for beach and pool. Great quiet location, close to everything. Great communication with management team. Highly recommend Peacock cottage.

Home from home

This was a lovely, well equipped home. The shared pool was perfect for a relaxing afternoon and the distance from the beach made it easy to walk to and enjoy the lovely ocean. The kitchen was well equipped and the beach chairs and body boards were great for the beach. Only minor issue was that the sofa was not very comfy for a family of four. we had a great time and felt at home.

This place was nice. The rooms were comfortable and the whole place was very clean, The pool outside was really nice and well maintained. The communication with the host was tough -- this is actually hosted through a third party property management company, so we were inundated with communications and had to log into a different site to see our rental information. Once we got there, we were texted from three completely different numbers with information, and it made it difficult to know who to communicate with. None of our text communications were responded to. Finally, the house is nice, but it is really outdated for the price they are charging. The living room and kitchen furniture is really old, as are the appliances. The washing machine wouldn't drain, so we had to wring out all of our clothes manually before putting them in the dryer. The dryer lint trap looked like it had never been cleaned out, which is a huge fire hazard -- when I opened the dryer, lint was literally spilling out. The dishwasher is also old and works okay, but not great. For the price they are charging for this place, I would expect appliances to be in better working condition.

Aside from a question regarding linens, we did not receive any reports of maintenance concerns during your stay.
