Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Downstairs cold, downstairs shower lukewarm and no heat. Driveway is a problem, very rough.
The house was cool...open and bright. The queen on the top level wasn't nearly as comfy as the king downstairs. My biggest complaint about the kitchen set up was there weren't the little extras like foil or Saran Wrap, no baggies, the cutting block (at least I think that's what it was) was in pieces and no other cutting board. Several pans had a lot of black cooked on residue and the ice cream scooper had a gray residue that was left on whatever it touched. The hot tub was cloudy but when we called that evening they sent someone out the next day...after calling back to remind them. It was fixed by 1pm but water not hot until 10pm. Couch was kinda old. Small shower with funky nozzle in upstairs bathroom. Filled the downstairs tub for bath (because the hot tub was out) and that took all the hot water (regular sized tub). Loud fan from gas fireplace. The piece of wood dividing the living room and the bathroom floor was tripped over a few times and came off.
These complaints could easily by fixed to make this house even better. We loved the view, sounds of crashing waves, the hot tub (once cleaned) and the cool garden area.
We had an excellent time staying in this house! It is not right on the beach, but a short 5 minute walk gets you there. We were impressed with how clean the house was. The hot tub was great! Bring your own beach towels! Overall, we would definitely stay there again and are planning to!
This home is beautiful, and I would stay here in the future. The view is amazing, especially in the morning from the living room. The location was very convenient, and not too far away from popular attractions. It felt like home, and not a hotel.
We stayed at the Anchor House with our kids and 2 dogs. It was amazing! The view from the deck and hot tub can't be beat. The property, inside and out, was very clean. We cooked many of our meals here and were happy that the kitchen was so well equipped.
The only thing of note is that the shower on the main floor would not be accommodating for anyone taller than 5'10-6'00. The head is adjustable, but I am 5'06 and felt cramped. Otherwise, the property was amazing and we had a great time! We will definitely be back.
This place is gorgeous. Perfect for families with older kids as everyone gets their own living space. Hot tub and view were amazing. We were very comfortable.
