The Cabin at Turkey Trail offers the perfect retreat for families, couples, and friends looking to escape into nature. Nestled near the entrance of Patoka Lake, this private cabin lets you immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the outdoors. Whether you're boating, fishing, hiking, or swimming, there's something for everyone. After a day of adventure, check out the local winery or brewery and the local cuisine. This peaceful haven ensures a relaxing and memorable getaway with loved ones.

The open concept kitchen/living area provides a great space for family meals, board game battles, or cuddling while watching a movie. The kitchen is fully stocked and includes all major appliances, toaster, Keurig coffee maker/pods, wine glasses, and everything you would need to cook or bake your favorites. For those rainy days or nights, games, cards, and books are also provided - including activities for children.

Whether you sleep in the main floor bedroom or the loft, you will enjoy the comfort of premium memory foam mattresses. The main floor bedroom has a king bed, private closet, and a dedicated workspace. The loft area sleeps 6 with two twin XL beds, two queen beds, closet, dresser, and under the bed storage. Baby gates are provided for the top and bottom of the loft stairs. For families with small children, a pack-n-play with sheets, a tabletop highchair, and child's dinnerware is provided.

The full bathroom includes a tub/Shower and bath linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer. The cabin also includes a full washer and dryer.

Outside, you will get to listen to the peaceful sounds of nature while sipping on coffee on the rocking chairs on the gated front porch or gather around the stone patio/firepit with the 8 available Adirondack chairs. You can dine and relax in the screened-in side porch, while stepping outside to grill up that perfect steak on the Char-Broil Commercial Grill. AND, Enjoy the new hot tub!!

You will be able to enjoy the entire cabin and the surrounding 1.5 acres, including the extra parking space on the north end of the lot- perfect for a boat or trailer.

Hook up to the WIFI, free of charge, for your phone and internet usage. Also log into your TV apps on the smart TV and enjoy.

A complimentary park pass is included with your stay. In order for the next guest to enjoy the same, please be sure to return the pass to the cabin. If this pass is lost, there is a $50 replacement fee.

Lockbox is located at the front door which is inside the screened in porch.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Thanks for staying with us! Checkout time is 11:00 AM. Here’s how to check out. 1. Please leave the used beds unmade. 2. Please put all used towels in the bathtub.
3. Please put ALL trash into garbage bags, NO LOOSE TRASH, and put in the trash bin at side of storage shed. 4. Please wash and put away all of your dishes. 5. Please make sure all windows are closed
6. Please lock the door and put it back into the lockbox, code 2010. If you have any questions or concerns, please use me know. We hope you enjoyed your stay.

We are from the Indianapolis area and we have been enjoying all the great things about Patoka Lake since 2008. Our children have grown up on this lake and we want to opportunity for other families to make as many great memories as we have down here. It's the perfect lake for the family!!

Why they chose this property

This is such a peaceful, serene area. We are the last cabins in this area so the traffic is very light. The trees in the summer are dense enough so you can hardly see another cabin. The fall is breathtaking and beautiful.

What makes this property unique

We are offering a wonderful place for a getaway! With 8 beds for adults, multiple parking spots, and spacious hangout areas like the front porch and screened-in porch, it seems like a great spot for groups or families to relax. The fact that it’s fully equipped for a weekend or longer vacation is a huge plus too!
