This was a beautiful property. The horse pastures were right outside the cottage. There is a hiking trail on the property that was a nice surprise. Highly recommend this cottage and would stay again.

My 13-year-old son and I just went up for one overnight to get away and hang out on the farm. It was so relaxing and the horses were happy for scratches and apples. The grounds were stunning to explore and the fire pit was perfect for the night. The hostess was very responsive and it was a wonderful peaceful stay. We also went and took a trail ride at Oakland Heights farm down the road and highly recommend them!

Wonderful stay at the Servants Cottage

Beautiful setting and very peaceful. We enjoyed the friendly horse, too. Next time we are in the area, we will certainly plan on staying here again.

We Loved Our Stay

Perfect size for my family of three—really cozy and clean. We couldn’t stop taking pictures of all the lovely views around the property, and of all the horses. We enjoyed using the fire pit each evening. We would love to visit again!

Great time at a great place

We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We felt the freedom to walk among the vast farm and experience a number of beautiful animals all while getting waves from workers that passed by. We enjoyed this experience while only being a little more than an hour away from our home. Highly recommended by us.

Christmas Gift Getaway!

Selected this property as a getaway for a Christmas gift for my husband. We brought out dog and loved walking on all the trails on the beautiful farm. It was the perfect location for us to visit downtown Gordonsville and the wineries in the area. We will be back!

Wonderful Farm Stay

While we got there late, we still had a wonderful time at the farm. The horses were a huge hit with the children, as well as us adults! If you’re family would enjoy sharing a one room setup this s the place for you!
