Frente al mar privado, frondosos porches junto al río, fogatas y bañera de hidromasaje durante todo el año. Piscina de diseño cubierta (sin bloqueador solar, ¡nada en todo clima!). Premium nuevas camas 2019 en 5 habitaciones grandes. Cocina al aire libre con gran parrilla de gas Weber y huevo verde. Divertida casa colorida, a pasos de la orilla del agua, recientemente remodelada para mayor comodidad y conveniencia. La cocina está equipada para grupos grandes y cocina creativa. Cuatro acogedoras chimeneas, juegos, películas y áreas de descanso en 3 de las habitaciones. Ropa de cama fresca y pisos de madera nuevos. Nuevos colchones de espuma viscoelástica desplegables. Ven y disfruta de esta porción de felicidad. (Para 18 personas en camas) Ubicado en Ingram, Texas, a 15 minutos de Kerrville y a 15 minutos de Hunt.

La retroalimentación constante que recibimos es algo así como "Hay algo para cada edad. Y tanto espacio para extenderse. Tuvimos un tiempo especial en familia juntos, pero cada uno tenía el espacio para escapar y leer un libro ". 20 acres adicionales al otro lado del río para practicar senderismo en la ladera. El patio familiar adyacente a la cocina y la piscina al aire libre es un lugar favorito para ver la puesta de sol al otro lado del jardín de mariposas, mientras lanza herraduras y arandelas en los pozos cercanos. The BEST Family Getaway!!!

It is very rare that all of our family members are excited about the place we stay but this place hit all the marks: swimming in the river, covered pool, bird watching, hiking, catch and release fishing, paddle boats, pickleball, outdoor cooking/eating…this place is great! Our family varied in ages from 79 to 7 and everyone was happy and content. I was even able to get my 11 year old gamer to voluntarily give up gaming for a week! We had all of these plans to visit towns near us but found ourselves wanting to just enjoy time at our home away from home. The home itself is well appointed with ample areas to either find a quiet spot or congregate and enjoy family and the location! They had plenty of extras (linens, kitchen accessories, games, etc.) that we never felt in need of anything. Tyler met us at the home to show us everything and was assessable throughout our stay. We are already planning when we can get back.

An amazing family retreat

This is an amazing place to stay. Do NOT have any hesitation about staying here. Every single aspect of this property is beautiful and well thought out. It was truly a haven of peace and rest. The river and pool both offered fun and recreation opportunities for all ages. The porches were set up for peaceful reflection and family gathering! It even has a butterfly garden. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful this property is.

2nd time here and had double the fun

This place has it all , pool, creek with paddle boats and canoe, outside kitchen, fishing catch and release, hiking, games, outside bar area with grill and tons more and this year they had Pickle Ball. Family loved it, played every morning for average 3 hours each. But plenty of relaxing places and rooms with plenty of area and chairs for our family to be together. The attention to details is star rating. Thank you so much Genie and Randy for sharing such an awesome place. It really brings the family together. ❤️❤️

Paradise

This was our second time to stay at edgewater this year! This is our family’s favorite vrbo ever. Every year we take a vacation with our kids and grandkids to a water destination. Best vacation ever!!

Our family (8 adults, 4 teenagers and four 6-10 year old children) stayed one hot week in July. We previously stayed at beach homes in South Carolina and Florida. This was everyone’s favorite. Not only did the host leave a welcome basket of fun and essential items, but it’s the first home we’ve stayed in that supplied so much: a stack of inner tubes of varying sizes, sheets that looked like new, every appliance and serving piece you would need, multiple sets of dishes, glassware and utensils and even an entire set of Cutco knives! I love cooking on our family vacations and typically bring 3 of my Cutco knives (this year they stayed packed on my suitcase! We loved eating together on the porch by the water as well as in the grilling area. The outdoor kitchen is great for fixing breakfasts (2 griddles make a quick job of fixing bacon and pancakes for a crowd) The family loved the rope swing and paddle boat as well as the pool. Yard games were a hit on the lawn while watching sunsets. My adult son took the kids on hikes and helped them find fossils…they can’t wait for show and tell at school. My husband helped the little ones catch fish (and release) and he caught a large bass that he also released. We took three day trips to the slide and rope swing at Ingram dam, Landa Park for swimming, water slide and rope swing from a platform, and to Garner State Park.., our favorite (get your day pass early…a month before)!

Best 70th Birthday Party

This property is Amazing. So much to do - playing in the creek with a rope swing, paddle boat, canoe, swimming pool so awesome, outdoor kitchen was perfect for grilling, smokeless fire pit to sit around at night, fishing, tons of seating areas and arrangements, outside fans everywhere, game room with lots of fun stuff to enjoy… the list goes one. This was my 70th birthday party with adult kids and grandkids and we all had a total blast. And with the attention to detail from the host of this property we felt very spoiled. Everyone already wanting to make plan again for this - again - awesome property and hosts ❣️ Thank you Genie and Randy.

Edgewater - Repeat Visit

We've stayed here twice - 2021 and 2023 - which says a lot about the property and hosts. The outdoor activities are outstanding - shaded pool, 4' deep spring fed creek with rope swing, paddleboat and canoe, fenced yard for the dogs, walking path, and a back porch to live on. A wonderful place to let the kids run around a little looser than you might normally. Inside is great for us, well stocked with lots of room for individuals or smaller groups, albeit a little quirky for the bedroom layout. Something akin to grandma's house but totally doable. The kitchen was recently redone - love the 6-burner gas stove and the "Sonic"-type ice maker. We always bring extra paper towels but that's about it besides your food. Everything else is there games, first aid supplies, beach towels, floating tubes, life jackets,.... Just ask and the hosts will let you know if you need to bring something you might be wondering about. Mixed reviews on the bed comfort (I slept fine!). We had 8 adults and 4 kids (4-13). Could have fit another couple. They also own and rent a smaller property next door, individually or combined with Edgewater for a larger family reunion. This one is high on our recommended list!

Great property

This is our 3rd time staying at this beautiful property. It’s the perfect place for our whole family. The kitchen and bathroom updates were beautiful. We loved the new stove in the kitchen! Everyone enjoyed the river and the pool. There were plenty of tubes to laze in the river along with a paddle boat and a canoe that my 2 grandsons, 6 & 4, really loved. Genie and Randy are great to work with.

Family getaway

4 generations, age 11 to 92 gathered for a wonderful time at this property. Everyone raved about all the things to do: swimming, tree swing, paddle boat, inner tubes, horse shoes, ping pong, games, puzzles, hiking. Fireflies and butterflies were amazing. Creek was full while we were there. Extremely well furnished. Everything you need is there. Including lots of beach towels. Very clean. Just as pictured. Owner is very responsive. You can tell this property is very well taken care of. Highly recommend.

Completely Worth It!

Our family can’t thank you enough for sharing your home with us. EVERYONE had such an amazing time. The home and property were so well stocked and clean! There is so much stuff to do within and around the property from swimming in the river, to the pool, to watching all of the wildlife and playing games. The kitchen had everything anyone would need to cook amazing meals and the two outdoor cooking spaces were used and enjoyed daily as well. This is the perfect place for gathering family and friends and making memories but also has so much space that if anyone needs a quiet relaxing place they can find that too. No complaints from anyone in this group & can say it was completely worth it. Thank you again! We hope to return soon. -Anderson Family & Gang!

Best VRBO experience ever!

We had 8 adults, 4 teenagers and 7 12 and younger. The wonderful porches with plenty of comfortable seating allowed us to watch the kiddos canoe, paddle boat and fish. We ALL enjoyed the river activities! Everything was very clean and the house was very well stocked! Thanks again for a great trip!

Worth it!

Our three-generation group of 10 adults and 2 children from three states gathered here for a week. Despite the drought and hottest summer ever, and we had a wonderful time. Mornings and late afternoons were breezy and cool enough for sitting comfortably on the creekside terrace. The other side of the house faces southwest and has morning shade over the fenced yard. When outdoor temps hit or passed 100, we swam in the pool, ate ice cream, took naps, watched movies or played games. Due to drought, the creek was down almost 2 feet and no longer flowing over the dams, so we choose not to swim in it but did enjoy the paddleboat and canoe. Several past reviews reference the lack of shades or curtains in the bedrooms. We were pleased to find peel-and-stick temporary shades in each closet sufficient to cover the windows of that room. Only one couple among us put the blinds up, and that was because they had children (3 and 5) using the daybed and trundle, and darkening the room helped them sleep. This property is amazingly versatile and accommodates early risers, late-sleepers, nature lovers, video game wizards, chefs or chef-wannabes, bookworms, bird-watchers, storytellers, and friends and families making memories together. The hosts are super-responsive and have an answer or fix for everything. They proactively gave us free use of the new Red Barn facility next door because the creek wasn't at its usual capacity. That barn is amazing! It gave us extra sleeping options, another full bath, refrigerator, a game room, and an excellent place to watch movies as a group on a huge HD TV. The rental fee can seem pricey, but it's absolutely worth it for what you get in return.

Best. Place. Ever.

We had a large family reunion at this location. The space was amazing for a large group. There was plenty of space to spread out. It is hard to say which was a bigger hit with the kids: the pool or the creek. The kitchen was super well-equipped for a large group. It was the location of a lifetime for a memorable family reunion.

Genie grew up spending summers swinging off a ropeswing into the Guadalupe in Hunt, TX. Randy grew up spending summers tubing the Guadalupe in New Braunfels. The water here at Henderson Branch, the Cypress trees, the limestone cliff and constant breeze recall those special family times. This is a place to create our own memories, and for you to do the same.

The land is private and peaceful. The river continually flows, the sound of the waterfall humming. Fireflies swarm on summer nights and a hawk nests on the opposite bank. Miraculously, St.Augustine grass has grown on the wide riverbanks for years, creating a soft carpet and a verdant vista. The house has three fireplaces for cozy winter visits, brisk walks, and lots of games. Visitors step out of the car and feel instantly relaxed. Come and see.
