Nuestra casa gemela de 3 dormitorios, construida en 1900 presenta muchos detalles arquitectónicos originales de la época. Disfrute de nuestros pisos de roble, porche delantero con un banco balanceado y una terraza posterior con parrilla con vista al jardín trasero. Cada uno de nuestros 3 dormitorios tiene una cómoda cama queen size: dormitorio trasero, dormitorio principal más grande y el tercer espacio renovado de flr (habitación más tranquila). El futón individual en la habitación delantera se puede colocar fácilmente en cualquier lugar en el 2 ° piso. Las unidades de ventana ofrecen aire acondicionado (moderno, silencioso, control remoto) - ventilador de techo con control remoto en la cocina y el dormitorio principal. La cocina está totalmente equipada: ¡los chefs tendrán dificultades para encontrar algo que falta! Refrigerador de tamaño completo con congelador inferior. Cute house in a lovely neighborhood. One block from a row of restaurants. Just a few blocks to the easy-to-use SEPTA station. Well-appointed kitchen, good plumbing, dreamy beds and an amazing CD selection. The four of us agree that Roderick’s house on Reese in Bryn Mawr has earned a 10.0 rating. A wonderful cozy place to re-connect with dear pals, and a Thoughtful host!!

Beautiful home and neighborhood

Our family was in tower to celebrate a college graduation, and this home was perfect for us! Wonderful shops and restaurants in walking distance. Spacious and well appointed home that had everything we needed from an iron to blender. We had the best memories together as a family staying here! Rod is kind and accommodating!

3rd time continues to charm

We're Haverford parents and have used this VRBO 3 times. We've also booked for graduation in 2 years. Everything is as advertised. It's close, easy. We've stayed here by ourselves, with my senior age mom, and also with friends of ours who are also Haverford parents. Rod is always communicative and easy to work with. We cook breakfasts with a helpfully stocked kitchen. As long as you're ready for stairs, one upstairs bathroom/shower for multiple bedrooms, and next door residents who are music teachers, all is well! We'll be back multiple times in the coming years!

Charming Bryn Mawr Home

This lovely home has all the comforts and amenities, located on a residential street within walking distance to the shopping/restaurants area of town. It's a great location if you plan to do sightseeing in Philadelphia or a day at the Jersey shore. Whatever reason for your visit, you'll return to this home and unwind on the beautifully planted patio or the inviting living room area. The beds were all comfy. The house was immaculate. We had a great stay and definitely will return. It feels like your home away from home!

Perfect Reunion Home Base

I helped organize a gathering spot for my mother and her friends (and spouses) for their 50th reunion at Bryn Mawr College. With the Mainline full of colleges (and consequently collegiate events) Rod's listing would be perfect for a group of 4-6 people who appreciate classic decor and a secluded verdant house. The property is within easy walking distance from Harcum and BMC and a rigorous jaunt to Haverford or Villanova. Check in was easy and felt safe, there is a garage as well as street parking (though prioritizes residents and should not be kept in front of the house all day). Thank you Rod for sharing your home with us and I'll be back for later reunions with my gaggle of college friends.

Perfect location/ comfortable stay

This was the perfect property for us. It's a very cute attached 3 bedroom house in a nice little neighborhood near Villanova. We were in town for my son's graduation and the property had everything we needed. It's close to the main road for shops and restaurants. The unit is quiet and cozy, with a kitchen that has everything. The back deck and gardens are pretty - unfortunately we couldn't sit out there because of the unfriendly weather. My husband enjoyed the CDs. The unit is attached but quiet, the neighbor was singing a little but it was during hours that didn't disturb us. We were very happy with our stay. Thank you Rod!

Like staying at a thoughtful friend's old house in a nice neighborhood

We've stayed before and will stay again. Comfortable, organized, convenient to Haverford where we were visiting our offspring. One can take Zoom calls from upstairs desk while others hung out downstairs. Kitchen well-equipped to facilitate cooking. Good book shelves. Great to be able to park in the garage. A nice old house and attentive host.

Wonderful family stay!

We had the best time and loved the house. Also so easy to walk to shops and cafes in town. We could not have been more comfortable! Will definitely come back to this house and would highly recommend it.

A wonderful "home" for the holidays

Our family loved staying in this wonderful Bryn Mawr home just before the holidays. I can't say enough about its cozy upstairs. Everything was carefully labeled and clear. We were never confused about how to find or use anything. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Extra bedding, pillows, towels, and beyond...check, check, and check. We felt so comfortable and at home. Thank you!

Wonderful Stay in Bryn Mawr, PA

We rented this house as we were expecting a friend from Germany who was staying 10 days with us; since we live in an apartment we wanted our friend to have a nice relaxing vacation in a spacious environment. We were not disappointed! This house, we called "home" during our stay, was as billed: charming and relaxing-wonderful! The amenities rivaled what I've experienced in 4 and 5 star hotels around the world! Absolutely beautiful, well appointed and functional kitchen; the owners even had food (in the freezer and up to date) in case we didnt have a chance to shop! The beds were very comfortable and the rooms nicely done. I work from home and was quite comfortable working here as I needed during our 10 day stay. I would rent this again in the future, thanks to the hosts for providing such a warm functional away home!

Fantastic house in center of Bryn Mawr

An all around fabulous house that exceeded our expectations. As a previous reviewer said, it's like staying at a very organized friend's house. The backyard is lovely, and the location was perfect for us, just one block from the shops and reastaurants, yet completely quiet. We would love to stay again in this beautiful house.

Great experience

We had a great experience staying here. Communication with Rod was excellent. The house is exactly as it’s shown. We were able to fit our minivan in the garage but it was snug fit. The house was stocked extremely well. We enjoyed our stay.

Comfy convenient residential living

We 3 adults / 2 generations enjoyed our stay. Feels like staying at an organized/neat friend’s place. Clean and comfy. Well stocked kitchen for cooking breakfast. Easy to work with Rod. Nice to have the garage for parking and the lovely area out back. Convenient short walk to the Septa for taking rail to Philly. My 77 year old mom took a Lyft to Haverford to visit our student and felt comfortable enough to walk the 1.6 miles back. 6 minute drive to Stoneleigh Gardens - highly recommend. Note one shared bathroom/shower for the 3 bedrooms up fairly steep stairs. Next door neighbors with a shared wall are musicians who sometimes practice in the evenings and weekend mornings (this was the reason for 4 stars vs 5. Out of the owner's control obviously but did impact our stay). We would stay again.

Super clean and great location

We stayed here in 2019 and were very happy with the home which is why we chose it again. The home is impeccably clean! Rod has great communication and answers questions quickly. The location is perfect! Many restaurants and shops are all walkable. Try Snap Pizza, El Limon, Surreal ice cream and boba, and Hope's cookies to name just a few. The house has a homey feel that makes coming back from a long day of exploring the Philly area or visiting your college student so relaxing. We highly recommend this VRBO. We plan to return in the future.

I enjoy Life, my family, playing tennis, golf, traveling to anywhere and everywhere, good food (Mediterranean cuisine especially) and good wine, exercising, new ideas, non-fiction, historical novels, history, watching Premier League soccer games on TV (Liverpool and Barcelona are my two favorite teams). My favourite movie is The Godfather (2) with The Deerhunter a close second but then there's The Irishman, Being There...and who doesn't love Casablanca? I was born in Liverpool in England and grew up in Dublin, Ireland. I have lived in the US since the 1980's....

Great location - Situated in the mature suburbs of Philadelphia known as The Main Line, we're 30 ms to Phila., 10 mns to I-476 and thus 2 hrs to Manhattan , 2.5 hrs to Washington DC, 1.5 hrs to beaches, 1-5 hrs to PA mountains.

I have lived on the Main Line and worked in the Education field for many years. Bryn Mawr is a great base for visiting local colleges and universities. Haverford College, Bryn Mawr College, Rosemont, Villanova University, Swarthmore College, Arcadia University, Univ of Penna, Temple are all within a reasonable drive of our house.
