Canvasback Cottage est un chalet en bord de mer dans un cadre privĂ© avec un grand quai et une terrasse. Il peut accueillir 6 personnes confortablement, avec deux chambres privĂ©es, un porche fermĂ© et 1. 5 salles de bains. Le chalet est une architecture ouverte avec plusieurs fenĂȘtres offrant une excellente vue sur l'eau et la surveillance des petits enfants le long de la plage. SituĂ© Ă  environ 1,5 km au nord du parc d'État de Taughannock et Ă  11 miles au nord d'Ithaca sur la rive ouest du lac Cayuga, le chalet est Ă  une courte distance en voiture de l'UniversitĂ© Cornell et du CollĂšge Ithaca, de la route des vins Finger Lakes et d'un large Ă©ventail d'activitĂ©s de plein air .
Le chalet est au niveau de la plage et est accessible par des escaliers depuis un parking pouvant accueillir 4 voitures. Les escaliers rendent le chalet inaccessible aux personnes handicapĂ©es et peuvent ĂȘtre difficiles pour les personnes ĂągĂ©es. Une chaloupe et des kayaks sont inclus dans la location. Des Ă©piceries et des magasins d'alcools, des restaurants, des salles de concerts et une pharmacie sont situĂ©s Ă  Trumansburg, Ă  environ 5 minutes du chalet. SĂ©jour minimum de trois nuits requis.

The cottage was very clean and well appointed- it had everything we needed for our stay and the view was outstanding. Lots of stairs so not for anyone with any mobility issues but we’d definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. The lake was beautiful and we took advantage of having campfires on the beach while listening to the waves and birds. The cottage is quaint like stepping back in time, which made it easy to leave the stress of every day life behind! We also appreciated Wes, helping us find the location. Use Apple Maps, not Waze! The cottage has everything you need to make meals and relax. We hiked every day at the many parks nearby. The location is close to everything!

Beautiful location in the forest right next to the lake. It’s a very warm and cozy feeling. Just walk out the back door and you are within several feet of the shoreline. The only concern is to be aware of the stairs waI would recommend for anyone who wants to be on the lake and in a forest setting. Just walk down the steps from the parking area and into another world. The shoreline is literally steps from the back door.

Peaceful Lakehouse!

All the amenities of home and amazing views- access to beautiful Cayuga Lake. Our boys enjoyed fishing and kayaking. Adults enjoyed the fire pit right next to the water at night. We all LOVED IT!!!

Peaceful Lakeside Place

This place was exactly what we were looking for, a quiet place to spend a few days with the family. We enjoyed kayaking, swimming and making s'mores. Great place for a family vacation!

Cozy, clean cottage

Very nice setting. House has a nice yard with seating, a fire pit, a nice dock with built in table and seating. Small area to get into water for swimming which our 4 year old granddaughter loved. The inside of the house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The front porch has all windows with lake views which we enjoyed at night watching a lightning show over the lake. Nice modern bathroom. Kitchen was fully supplied. We enjoyed our time here.

My family enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Beautiful views right on the lake and close to the waterfalls we wanted to visit. My kids enjoyed swimming in the lake, kayaking and fires at night. We would definitely come back again.
