In accordance with the Town of Kiawah Island Short Term Rental Ordinance, all guests understand that the approved number of bedrooms is 4, the maximum allowed occupancy is 10, and the maximum allowed number of vehicles is 5.

This Kiawah Island vacation rental features four bedrooms and a private pool and is about a 5-minute walk to the beach. Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, this home offers golf views and is adjacent to a lagoon with a bridge for viewing wildlife and flora.

The living area highlights the picturesque golf and lagoon views via its large windows and offers plenty of cozy seating. Adjacent to the living area is the dining area, which offers a table for eight and access to the screened porch. The kitchen, complete with a breakfast area, is highlighted by white cabinetry, granite countertops, and a large center island with bar stool seating. Equipped with a sleeper sofa to serve as additional sleeping quarters, the den features a flat-screen TV, and views of the golf course and pool deck.

The first floor offers a queen bedroom and bathroom, while the second floor houses three additional bedrooms. The primary suite features a king bed, flat-screen TV, private deck, and private bathroom. Two other bedrooms ā€“ a queen bedroom and a bedroom with bunk bed and twin bed ā€“ share a hall bathroom.

Back outside, the spacious golf and lagoon view deck includes a screened porch and shallow pool, perfect for splashing around on hot summer days. Guests do not have access to the garage.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

This pool cannot be heated.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more ā€“ the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kidsā€™ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

Perfect spot!

This was our third trip to Kiawah Island, first time renting this property. The house was very clean, beautiful updated bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and loved the fact that it had 2 living rooms. We used the screened in porch each morning for coffee, very peaceful. The beds were VERY comfortable, and there were plenty of extra blankets and towels. Location was great, 7 minute walk to the beach, 2-3 minute bike ride. We traveled with our adult children. After the second day, we realized the pump on the pool must not have been working, we called the property management and someone came out (we were gone for the day), and it was working fine when we returned. Check in and out was easy, and communication with the property management was wonderful. Would highly recommend this property.

We didn't stay at Catbrier as this listing states, not sure how to fix that. However we did stay at 23 Greensward, another property by Akers Ellis. It was a great house with a nice pool. Location to the beach as really good

Disappointed with the house

We have rented other houses at Kiawah that were much nicer for much less money. The house was clearly older and not well maintained. The issues included worn out, dirty indoor furniture; filthy, broken patio furniture; stained linens; missing light bulbs; broken patio door; three non-working toasters. The positive things about the house were the comfortable beds and short walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay at Kiawah like we always do, we just don't feel that the house was worth what we had to pay for it.

Great location, needs basic home repairs

Overall, our family enjoyed our week-long stay. The house is in a great location, the pool is perfect for taking a quick dip or for kids to splash, and the floor plan is spacious. However, the house was in need of basic maintenance. There were quite a few electrical outlets with either broken covers or completely detached from the wall. The bunk bed in the third bedroom was not safe for children to sleep on top. Most of the pillows in the house were pancakes. It was also clear that there have been issues with mold around registers and water damage under a few windows. We emailed mid-week about ants in the house. The property manager was very prompt with fixing this issue. We have stayed at other properties in Kiawah with better locations and better maintained houses for less of a cost.

Very spacious and extra den was a great playroom for our grandchildren. They loved all the toys, dvds and puzzles. Enjoyed pool and being next to golf course. 10-15 minute walk to beach; just a short bike ride. Need to fix kitchen faucet and dishwasher. Need new non-stick frying pans. Need a broom for minor cleanups.

Fantastic place with 4 bedrooms and sleeper sofa. It looks professionally decorated and is close to the beach. Golf views are relaxing from screened porch or deck. Kiawah itself was also great. Money well spent on this family vacation.

I really love the decor

Owners did a wonderful job decorating this home. It is very clean and comfortable and has a beach house vibe. Perfect for Kiawah Island. Bed configuration worked for my family and the kids loved the bunk room. It was great to sit outside by the pool and look at beautiful Kiawah!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kiawah Island is paradise! Bike rental is a must with endless trails as well as rides on the beach. This was our 6th stay on Kiawah. Kitchen is beautiful, but we wish it had more items for "cooks" such as a few good knives and pots/pans.Bathrooms are outdated and master shower stall extremely small. A bit strange to have a bathroom basically IN the kitchen. We called it the "pee pantry" for obvious reasons. Aside from those minor disappointments, the house fit our needs and is super close to the beach. We loved the dipping pool which is very cute and a great feature since private pools are fairly scarce in Kiawah rentals. The house was VERY clean, but did have a bit of a musty smell (especially master closet). Other plus's are plenty of children's books, toys and games; screened porch with comfy seating; and cul-da-sac location. We think this could be an A+ home with just a few improvements.

We absolutely loved this rental! Would come back in a heartbeat. Kiawah Island is secluded and quiet. The perfect getaway and not too far from charleston for a day trip.
