Beautifully decorated cabin with everything you need in the kitchen, etc. The view was wonderful and the vibe peaceful. Great lakeside relaxing as well as a firepit with plenty of firewood. Host was easily accessible and communicated well. We'll return!

Pelican House was the perfect place for our stay. The rental was described accurately and met all of our needs. Greg was an excellent host and covered all our needs. Extra special is the location - centrally located for our plans. We'll be back, you can count on it!

This lovely cozy cottage was extremely comfortable and clean. Beautiful sunrises from the large dock. Great restaurants near by. Host couldn't have been more accommodating and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We have our own boat and could dock it right in view of where we were staying. Nicely decorated and comfortable lake house. It was quiet and safe. Greg, was a wonderful host. We hope to return.

Our stay was amazing. The property was huge and dog friendly. Beautiful deck with a lake view. Nice privacy all around. Host was more than gracious and accommodating to needs. The house was very clean and the mattress and bedding were beyond comfortable! My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Great spot!

I enjoyed staying at this cute lake cabin. The kayaks and sauna were especially nice to use and Greg made the check-in process really easy. My only complaint was that the hot water in the cabin had a sulfur-like smell that was unpleasant. Overall, it was a great spot and I'd stay again.

Natalie, thanks for the note on the water. Being on a well in this area there is high iron content. I inspected the water heater and found that the anode rod had failed. Just replaced the water heater and seems to have corrected the sulfur issue.

Relaxing and cozy

This property was perfect for us. We wanted a quiet getaway on the water. We stayed during the week and it was lovely. The house was the perfect size for the two of us and our dog. Every detail was taken care of. The property is on Grass Lake and the owner provided kayaks, firewood and a firepit, a zip line for the dog, a grill and charcoal. Check in and check out was easy and hassle-free. Would definitely stay again!

This location was perfect for our little family getaway for my husband, son, and dog. There was something for everyone as my husband got to fish, my son played on the beach, and I laid out in the sun. I’m not a morning person, but seeing the sunrise at 5:30 was worth it!! The house had everything we needed and more! And Greg was a fantastic and responsive host! One thing to be aware of, the majority of the air conditioning is from a window unit in the bedroom, so we found it helpful to open the windows for a bit and let some of the fresh air in to the kitchen and front room. The hardwood floors were beautiful and the pelican theme decorations throughout the house were so fun! We didn’t get to use the fire pit, but if we visit again in the fall we totally would. Oh! And the location was great with lots of shopping and food options. And for anyone with an EV, there are Tesla superchargers and other options not too far away

Loved the Hideaway - it's tucked in out of the way and right in front of the water. The unit had everything we needed - well stocked for cooking, plenty of towels and beach towels, kayaks were great fun and life jackets are provided.The yard has a nice fire ring and the property has hanging lights - looks pretty and feels safe. The host, Greg, was very helpful and personable and introduced himself, which I was impressed by. I don't see how you could go wrong here.

The Pelican house was exactly as described. Greg was a wonderful host, very responsive to messages and even let us know when we arrived about some coyotes that have been spotted at the property, very appreciated since we were traveling with our dogs. The house had all the amenities you could want. You can tell the host is a real professional with the details, the switches were all labeled and there were helpful signs throughout the home. The kimg size bed was comfortable and you could see that a lot of updates had been put into the home. The kayaks were available for use and the dock was really nice to hang out on. The fish were not biting very much for us, maybe they didn't like night crawlers! Maybe try a different bait! We enjoyed a few campfires and took a hike at a local trail. The property has 3 homes; 2 rentals, and the host. Its nice to have the host near by, but he's not like " in your business " at all. Plenty of parking as well. Fox Lake offered a lot of restaurants and Blarney Island is visible from the property and looks really fun with boat races and bands Thursday-Sunday. Overall a nice place to get away!
