Escape to this serene, one bedroom, guest house nestled among the Pinion Pines and Junipers at just under 7000 ft elevation, a haven just 19 miles east of Show Low in Arizona’s White Mountains.

• Heated, covered patio with BBQ grill-perfect for morning yoga or sunset reflection.
• Star-gazing bliss: with minimal light pollution, the night sky offers a mesmerizing show.
Our retreat is just minutes from the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, where guests can immerse themselves in forest bathing, mindful meditation walks, and scenic hiking trails surrounded by pines.

The guesthouse is located on 5 acres at the end of a cul de sac. The house is a 600 SF 1 bed/1 bath with a full kitchen, laundry room and workspace/infrared sauna room. Hardwood floors throughout. A covered, heated patio with propane BBQ and fire pit for you to enjoy the solitude.

Host (Kristen) was super communicative and such a pleasure. Location is perfect for visiting various beautiful trails and relaxing. The guest house itself is lovely, so well set up, and extremely cozy and comfortable - a true treat!

This was a solo trip with the expectation of seclusion, privacy, and just a great place to unwind and recalibrate. This location, this guest house, and the surrounding environment exceeded all expectations. I would like to compliment the construction and the appearance of this guest house as a five star construction job! It just has a meditative feel to it, and was very conducive to spiritual restoration. Everything is/was as advertised, and I have never stayed in a cleaner place. Extremely well maintained on the interior and the exterior. One of my favorite places on the property is the meditative garden with the fountain. It’s a very peaceful area, and so quiet! If you enjoy meditation and prayer, this is the place to do that. I wish I did not have to leave. But in the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, “I’ll be back“. Thank you for sharing your property with me.

The Private Mountain Guesthouse was absolutely perfect for our little escape! The entire place (inside and out) was in pristine condition to say the least. I would say that if we were ever to journey to the area again, we would absolutely stay here!Kristen was a joy to communicate with about every and any little thing. She is on top of her property and it shows. My wife loved all the little decorations, stating that it has a woman's touch. You can completely see it in the details! The pride in this property shines brightly throughout. The beautiful landscape, the ever-so dark nights, and the quiet sounds of the desert abound at this sanctuary. We will remember this always!

It was a beautiful tucked away place, cant see ppl, or traffic or neighbors. Great get away for anyone even us hunters!!! Not to far off the main highway is a plus too!!! Washer and dryer to take care of your own things, clean and tidy. Had seasonal decor outside to still feel the season. Perfect for us on a 5 day stay. Host was quick to answer any and all questions we had!!!
