Relaxing Villa at the Grand Bear Resort close to Starved Rock!

Come enjoy a wonderful family vacation at our cozy villa at Grand Bear Resort. After a day of hiking at Starved Rock, gather around the fireplace for some warm and cozy evenings in our spacious two-story cabin, or relax in the jacuzzi for the ultimate comfort. We also have lots of fun activities right at the cabin, including a Pacman Retro Arcade and giant games of checkers and Jenga!

Our charming vacation villa is nestled in a beautiful wooded area and is perfect for families or groups, accommodating up to eight to nine people. The two-story villa has 1,800 square feet of space and features a cozy living room with a fireplace and a TV, plus a kitchen and dining area. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and even a patio, along with a full-size washer and dryer. You can unwind on one of the two balconies while enjoying lovely views of the surrounding trees. The kitchen has everything you need, including major appliances, a coffee maker, a toaster, dishes, utensils for eight people, and basic cooking tools. The Master Bedroom is a spacious escape with a king-size bed, a fireplace, a TV, a private vanity, and a whirlpool tub. The second bedroom comes with two queen-size beds and its own TV. It was clean. Enjoyed the arcade game, nice tv, and jacuzzi! The water filter needed to be changed as it tasted like well water. So, we had to buy bottled water. I let the owner know.

It would take a while to hear back from the owner but never longer than 24 hours. Instructions for entry were concise and clear. Check out instructions were not given until the day prior to check out, after I asked.Beds were comfortable. With a washer and dryer there, it made it easier to have enough clean towels. Some items like extra paper towels and toilet paper could not be located. We could tell that they were still fixing the villa up as paint tape was still around a window. Nice place overall.

Anniversary Getaway

We had an amazing stay! The property was extremely clean, easy to locate & had plenty of great amenities. One of our favorite things to use was the arcade machine! The jacuzzi tub & fireplaces were also amazing. We picked this property since it was so close to Starved Rock State Park! The property has a fun outdoor vibe to it & we loved every second of it. 10/10 would stay again!

Great location for visiting Oglesby, Utica and Starved Rock. Super spacious. The beds were comfortable and we had fun with the video game! Eduardo responded to messages promptly. My only suggestion is for renters to arrive in the daylight because the numbers are hard to see (not the owner’s fault) We would stay here again!
