• Spacious & Flexible Accommodations: Four bedrooms, three set up with king-sized beds and one with two twin xl beds. Each bedroom can be arranged as a king bed or two twin xl beds. This setup ensures flexible accommodations for different types of groups and restful nights for every guest. Bedroom linens are all hotel-quality, and each room comes equipped with robes for guests’ enjoyment during their stay. Three bedrooms have water views and three include desks for guests wishing to work remotely.

Enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, whale watching, puffin tours, and other outdoor activities, all while returning to a serene and comfortable home.

Layout

First Floor:
The first floor of Lee by the Sea is designed for convenience and comfort, featuring a cozy bedroom with a king-sized bed and a large window with water views, perfect for guests preferring main-level accommodations. A full bathroom is located nearby, equipped with a separate shower and soaking bathtub, offering ease and accessibility. The heart of the home includes a fully equipped kitchen with high-end stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space, seamlessly connecting to the dining room (with seating for eight) for shared meals. The spacious living room provides comfortable seating with a brand-new couch and large ottoman, reclining chair, rocking chair, accent chairs, a smart TV, and large windows that fill the space with natural light. For a touch of serenity, the sunroom offers a tranquil space with comfy seating to relax, read, birdwatch, or enjoy views of the peaceful Mill Cove.

Second Floor:
Upstairs, the second floor features three additional bedrooms, two outfitted with luxurious king-sized beds and one with two twin xl beds. Ample natural light and water views create private and restful retreats. All three bedrooms on this floor also include desks for guests who wish to work remotely. The primary bedroom includes an ensuite bathroom for added convenience, while the remaining two bedrooms share a second full bathroom, designed with modern amenities for comfort. This upper level offers a perfect balance of privacy and functionality, ideal for families or groups looking to unwind in a serene coastal setting.

*Note: Brand new hybrid, high-quality mattresses have been purchased for all bedrooms. In addition, all four bedrooms can be set up with either one king size bed in the room or two separate twin size beds (beds are split kings that are able to be separated for two beds, if all guests would like their own, separate bed—or be joined, creating a king-size bed). We offer linens and bedding to accommodate either setup. This allows for flexibility in all bedrooms.

Outside:
The first floor leads out to an open deck and wrap-around covered and screened-in porch. Stairs lead from the open deck to a stone patio on the water’s edge. Outdoor furniture includes a dining table, outdoor couch, wicker furniture, and accent chairs. Around the patio (and the rest of the house) is a large grassy area – from the back of the house, an easy brick pathway leads down to the sandy shore on Mill Cove. There is also a gas grill, firepit, and 2 kayaks for use by guests. There is parking in the driveway to accommodate many cars and a two-car garage. Next door to the property is a small, historic family cemetery dating back to the civil-war era (these small plots are common throughout Trenton and Mount Desert Island).
