We enjoyed our stay and thought the home was a good option for our trip to Lake Charles. It was nice to be able to bring our dogs, and the owner was very accommodating. For anyone traveling with dogs, just be aware that the backyard is not fenced and there also isn’t a door from the house directly into the backyard area. This really limits the area the dogs have to run and exercise. This definitely isn’t a criticism of the owner—we simply didn’t think to ask about the setup before booking, and that’s on us.
