Located in a completely renovated landmark brownstone in the heart of the Upper West Side, steps from Central Park and many wonderful shops and restaurants, this bright, sunny high-end one bedroom apartment is 4 flights up facing a tree-lined street.

It boasts large windows with custom blinds, a Washer Dryer, plenty of storage including Elfa custom-designed closets and radiant heat under the hardwood floors.

The living area comes complete with a full-size leather sofa-bed, 2 leather ottomans/ coffee tables, a dresser and a l HD 1080p 37” TV ready for internet streaming (Netflix, You Tube, etc.)M Home Theater System and Wifi Router.

The bedroom has a custom made Bamboo queen size bed, one armoire, a night stand with a lamp, large Elfa custom-designed closets and Custom Made Blinds with Black Out.

The eat-in kitchen features, top of the line European custom made cabinets, granite counter tops and brand new Miele stainless steel appliances, including an integrated panel refrigerator, a microwave convection oven and a dishwasher under the sink. It is also fully stocked with all the basics you will need for day-to-day living: a toaster, coffee maker, and electric water kettle.

The European-tiled contemporary bathroom has a bathtub with hand held/over head shower in tub, extensive storage below and above the sink, and a toilet.

Additional amenities:

Please kindly note: $ 1,500 security deposit for up to a month stay and a full month security deposit for more than 30 days stay is payable to host when guests move in. The security deposit will be refunded after moving out by the host.

The utilities and the cleanings are to be discussed with the host for stays of 30 days or longer.

The living Room and bedroom have their own separate remote controlled AC units.

We restored this 1880's brownstone preserving all of historic features, but in the same time providing all the luxury with high tech communication infrastructure of an office. For example every corner of the apartments are wired for 100 GB internet connection.

We have I believe a unique property in one of the nicest areas of Manhattan with all the amenities we could possibly offer, ie; high speed wired and WIFI internet, Custom made European kitchen with Miele Appliances, Washer/Dryer, IP based video intercom etc.

Clean, comfortable, and great location!

My stay was perfect - the apartment is clean and spacious (suitable for one or two guests). Izi was kind and helpful throughout my stay. Washer/dryer in unit, dishwasher, and central air conditioning - everything worked perfectly. Highly recommend!

A tiny, well-equipped modern studio hideaway in interesting neighborhood

This is an attractive studio on the 5th floor (no elevator) of a totally rehabbed old building on a quiet residential West Side street. The recent renovation means that everything works--huge TV, dishwasher, washer-dryer, ac, double-paned windows, new stove, sofa bed--and that there is little noise from other apartments in the building. The residential street is quiet, for Manhattan.

The neighborhood is interesting--a mixture of chichi and working class--and both Amsterdam and Columbus Avenues have lots and lots of interesting eating places, from the expensive to ethnic to down-home bodega-cafes. Saturday nights see a youthful social scene around many restaurants and bars.Two supermarkets, a liquor store and a subway stop are a few blocks away.

The owner, Itzi, and the property manager, Elio, were unfailingly helpful and courteous when I needed a place to stay in an emergency.

Owner's Response: It was a pleasure to accommodate Dr. Johanna Lessinger in the apartment. She was always very accommodating when needed. She kept and left the apartment very clean even washed the linens which she did not have to. I will very highly recommend her as a tenant and welcome her anytime.
