Charming 2-bedroom waterfront cottage on Reelfoot Lake in Samburg, TN

Cozy two bedroom waterfront cottage in the heart of Samburg. Less than two miles from public boat ramp. Less than a mile from the Boat House Restaurant and the local gas station. Features two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. It also has an eat-in kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, dishes , cook ware, microwave, and coffee pot. The cottage also has a living room with a couch, two recliners, and a TV. The home also has good Wi-Fi. There is also a small stacked washer and dryer in the bathroom. Outside the house features a nice deck with patio table and a porch swing out in the yard to relax and take in the lake views. It is a common occurrence to see bald eagles, ospreys, and other waterfowl right from the backyard. Location is great for hooking up with local crappie and duck guides or just taking in all the beautiful scenery and wildlife that Reelfoot is known for.

Cozy place

Nice place to sit with a cup of coffee and watch the different birds flying around and singing. A bonus was watching the fireworks show for Memorial day without leaving the property.

I'm Chris and I'm from Huntingdon, Tennessee. This little cabin is my first VRBO property although I do own and manage several long-term rental properties. I love spending time at Reelfoot. It just feels so different from the rest of West TN. I love most things outdoors. I enjoy fishing, wakeboarding, running (just completed my first marathon in January of 2025), biking, and swimming.

Why they chose this property

I had an acquaintance who also has a rental property here on Reelfoot lake and it sounded like a great place to start a VRBO business.

What makes this property unique

My property is a little unique as it has been here in this location for a lot of years as a waterfront cabin getaway for a family. Now it is open to the public and a lot of people can come here and enjoy the area for all the things that make Reelfoot unique. Whether it is crappie fishing, duck hunting, deer hunting, or just wildlife watching, Reelfoot offers a unique atmosphere for almost anyone who enjoys the outdoors.
