Softball getaway

We were in town for a softball tournament and this place was great! Plenty of space for our family of 5. We LOVED the extra touch of throw blankets in every room and the pack and play was so helpful! We don't typically watch a ton of TV but TVs in every room were a fun surprise for our kids. Driving into the neighborhood, we were a little skeptical. Some homes look well taken care of, while others don't. But we had a very peaceful and relaxing stay. We would stay here again if the opportunity arises!

Upon arrival at the property, it was immediately evident that the home presented unsafe and unsanitary conditions that were not disclosed in the listing. These issues not only posed a risk to my health and safety but made the property entirely unsuitable for occupancy. The host described this home as new, it’s 75 years old, and it has a serious mold issue, coupled with cat urine. I promptly brought these concerns to hosts attention in good faith, expecting a reasonable and professional resolution. Unfortunately, rather than acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, host refused to offer any assistance. This response has been extremely disappointing.

Why they chose this property

Growing up in a big city, this neighborhood truly caught my attention because of its calm, peaceful ambiance. With the home's front and back deck, it is perfect for watching the stars or taking in the sun. You can sometimes catch a cute bunny hopping around the backyard which is a nice surprise.

What makes this property unique

My property is unique because, unlike many Airbnb properties that are owned by hosts with a multitude of properties, this is our special project, and it was thoughtfully furnished/set up as a team effort by my family and friends. The design on the wall was done to encourage photos and capturing moments. Personally, I fell in love with the entirety of our 1950s home. From the lively yet calming furnishing to the big backyard with occasional bunny hopping, what's not to love?
