Great House and Location

We had a fantastic stay, the pool was awesome, and the proximity to everything we wanted was perfect. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room.

Photos were definitely NOT an accurate representation of the property. There were cobwebs and bugs. The refrigerator leaked the entire time. The kitchen not sufficiently stocked for cooking., lacked pans needed. Mop was dirty, any cleaning needed was not possible. The grill was not to up to par, and no shovel to clean it out, just an ice scraper. The grass was ankle deep when we arrived. The list could go on. The pool was the highlight.

Thank you for the detailed feedback — I’m very sorry your stay fell short of expectations. We’ve scheduled a deep clean and pest-control visit to address the cobwebs and bugs, and maintenance has been asked to inspect and repair or replace the leaking refrigerator. The kitchen has been restocked with essential cookware and cleaning supplies, the mop has been replaced, and the grill tools (including a proper shovel/ash scoop and brush) have been upgraded. Landscaping has been scheduled to prevent future overgrowth, and we’ll be updating the listing photos so they accurately reflect the property. I’m glad the pool was a highlight, and I appreciate you letting us know where we needed to improve.

This is a wonderful property in a great location. It met our needs for this trip. The house is in great condition and has many great features. It’s a premium property in many ways!That said, there are some things that are disappointing that should be addressed. Specifically, there are several nails sticking out of the deck boards, the kitchen sink water is plumbed backwards, the outside shower leaks, spraying water in the chairs under the deck. Worst of all, when paying for a premium property, one expects at least normal if not premium amenities. Using poly-cotton towels is an awful decision. 100% cotton towels is what should be the standard for quality and absorbency. The other thing was the pillows. Most were flatter than a pancake. This is not what one would expect for such a wonderful property, it cheapens the whole experience!!

Nice place, bad service

Place is nice but pool was not warm enough at a max of 89-90F to accommodate late night swimming during October in 50F outside weather. We've stayed at other places where the pool will heat to 95-97 and that is more than enough. Additionally, the pool takes a whole day to heat so you will pay for a day of heating while the pool is inaccessible.

The house is nice and once I checked in, communication with property manager was great. The downside for my crew was the pool simply was not warm up to use at night during late October in 50 degree temperature because the pool wouldn’t get higher than 90. We’ve stayed at places before where pool will get to 95-99 and then it’s perfect. Additionally the pool took an entire day to heat up so we had to pay for a day of heating although pool was inaccessible

I’m sorry the pool didn’t reach the temperature your group expected — in cooler weather the heater commonly maxes near 90°F and can take up to a day to reach that level depending on outside temps. After your stay we reviewed the pool system and heating schedule, clarified the expected warm‑up time and typical max temperature in our guest information, and are exploring ways to improve heat‑up time and achievable temps. We appreciate the feedback and hope to host you again.
