House was nice and well-appointed, in the back of a secluded neighborhood about 7 miles from downtown South Haven. Great space for our group weekend. Host was responsive to our needs and questions throughout the stay.

Lovely house , great lay out. Access to beach is great, although the stairs going down to beach are not intact any more, but the road is not too far. Rooms very spacious and comfy and kitchen has all what is needed. we had a blast. The house is not on main road and very quiet, loved it. The porch was great to get my work done (writing :-)). Daniel was very accommodating and friendly. Thanks for great stay!

Family reunion in the woods

We enjoyed our stay in the house in the woods. There was room for our family reunion, both for those of us who slept there and for various relatives who stopped by. The house sleeps 10, as advertised, but two of the beds are rollaways, which you can put anywhere. We walked the 15-20 minutes through the neighborhood to the beach, which is sandy, with rocks in the shallow water. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and eating. We didn't go into town for meals with our big group, but it's 10-15 minutes drive to downtown South Haven. Response from the hosts wasn't always fast, but they did eventually respond. The bathtubs are enormous, which the little kids loved, but are not so easy for us old folks to get in and out of. We were basically out of cellphone range, which is apparently not unusual near the lake, but not convenient. The wifi, once we got on it, was intermittent. Still, it was a good stay.
