Great Lakefront Home with cabin. This property worked well for our group of 18 golfers. The only negative was only 3 bathrooms for 18 but we were able to manage.

Snowmobile Trip

We felt blessed and grateful to stay at this property. It was absolutely perfect for our annual snowmobiling trip. Trail #7 is right across the lake with easy access from the State Park. The home is clean and very accomodating for large groups. Thank you for the opportunity!!

Beautiful cabin

We pick a different place every year for kids and grandkids to go for Christmas.. we have always like seeing new places and getting to different states but EVERYONE wants to come back to stay at this cabin again! Beautiful had everything we needed even the jumper for our 7 month old granddaughter! We loved all the rooms and enjoyed the snow. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and make great memories. I’m sure we will be back maybe in the summer! The Newell Family

Gray Family Vacation

We stayed here for the third year in a row and already have the property booked for a week next summer. Everything about the property is perfect for our family. From the huge windows overlooking the gorgeous Otsego lake, catching frogs and tadpoles in the pond, the large number of comfortable beds and bedrooms to house our large family, sunset campfires on the beach... nothing but incredible memories were made. We can't wait to come back next year.

This is a special place

The property is gorgeous and the views of the lake from the house are picturesque, to say the least. The house perfectly accommodated our family and had all the amenities we needed, and then some. It was the perfect place for our family to celebrate a quiet and relaxing Thanksgiving in northern Michigan. Our host was very accommodating and excellent with communication. This is a special place and we were so fortunate to be able to spend time there. We hope to come back again in the future.

Beautiful "Up North" experience

Beautiful property. We booked a LARGE family at Christmas-time. Bunk rooms and extra cabin suited our needs perfectly. Home and property were beautiful. Owner was prompt in taking care of any issues (large snowfall just before we came, with tree down over driveway!) It was taken care of before the rest of our group arrived.

Amazing Lake Getaway!

This place is phenomenal and dreamlike. Even better in person than the photos! There was a lot of outdoor space for activities and games. The fire pit can fit everyone and the place is very accommodating for large groups. I was on a golf trip with 11 of my other best friends and we didn’t have a single complaint. In fact, it blew our expectations. Would absolutely love to stay here again! The best courses are within 20 minutes. Rain or shine, we had a great time.

Snowmobile trip

Online listing is deceiving. This is actually 2 separate properties a 6 bedroom house and a 3 bedroom guest house. You have to go read the fine print to figure that out and once you request to book they will tell you if the guest house is available. Pots, pans and bedding need to be updated. Check out process is a bit too much, I am ok with putting used towels in a laundry room but here they need to be washed. Driveway is about a 1/4 mile long with a lot of snow on it you will be expected to pull the non wheeled garbage cans to the end of the driveway. If you are coming with a trailer there is no way to get to the house you need to unhook the trailer and leave it somewhere.

winter house

We were 13 members of a family and the set up for the house was terrific--with 2 wings of bedrooms off of the living room and kitchen area. Plenty of hanging out space. Only 2 complaints: The extra cord of wood I paid for, arrived dumped in a heap by snow (no covered area) and was mostly green--took forever to catch on (not owner's problem-buit maybe she should look into new provider. Both refrigerators were filled with leftovers (including frozen hot dogs and old ice cream)--we had a hard time fitting in the fresh food we had brought for the week. We were told we had to bring all food supplies.

Canadian Thanksgiving 2022

Renting this property was a breeze. Dealing with Karyn was great. She was very prompt in her replies and hence our decision to stay at this beautiful serene clean spacious resort was very easy. The house and guest house is well equipped, you name it and you find it in the house, be it linens, utensils, appliances, everything. The house is so spacious, the view is breathtaking, the sunrises and the sunsets were gorgeous, the washrooms were well provided for and what more can I say, it was well worth the 6plus hours we drove up to live at this beautiful getaway that we happily called home while we were there. Just simply amazing. Highly recommend renting this place for groups of all sizes. Summer would be the best time to stay here.

Perfect for making memories with loved ones

We love this home. It is perfect for our large family, offering incredible spaces for us to be all together while still giving us space to spread out when needed. We rented last summer and already have it booked for next year. Peaceful and serene, we can’t wait to go back.

A lake house, for lake lovers

Not perfect, but perfect for our family. It might not have everything you want, (air conditioning), but it has everything you need (lake breezes, and fans). From kitchen appliances to lake toys. A comfortable cottage, great for large gatherings, and making memories.

Perfect Family Holiday

Great property for a large family gathering! Our group (up to 27 at the max) was aged 2 to 79 and we had a wonderful time celebrating Xmas and New Years here. Karyn was very easy to work with and quick to respond. The ability to rent the additional guest house was also a big plus. We cooked many large meals and gathered by the fireplace every evening to warm up and play games. A wonderful start to 2022.

This property easily accommodates large numbers of people, 27+. The location is central to anything and everything although you will likely never want to leave the premises. There is plenty of room and several acres to give you a lot of privacy. The state park and marina are very close which also offers many amenities as well. Perfect for family reunions, golfers paradise or special retreats.
