Great place for a getaway! The home is located in a “resort” near Taylorsville Lake. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. Communication with the host was quick and friendly.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is very well equipped and the layout is nice. Location was great. Would love to be able to give them 5 stars, however, the jetted tub did not work as well as the only outlet in the master suite bathroom. We contacted them on Sunday and was told maintenance would check it out on Monday after we left. I also wasn’t a big fan of having to put the bag of garbage into our car to take to the dumpster. I feel that part should be included in the housekeeping fee. Overall, it was a great place and would stay again! I’m

We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay overall and would stay with us again! We did want to provide a little clarification regarding the two maintenance concerns mentioned. Our maintenance team checked the jetted tub on Monday and found the jets to be working properly. The bathroom outlet is a GFCI-protected outlet and had simply been tripped; once reset, it was also working properly. We appreciate you bringing both items to our attention so we could verify that everything was functioning as it should. Regarding trash, we completely understand that taking it to the resort dumpster may not be everyone's favorite part of checkout. Because our cottages are located in a wooded lake resort where wildlife is common, we ask guests to take their bagged trash directly to the designated dumpsters rather than leaving it inside or outside the cottage. This helps us prevent odors, discourage rodents and wildlife, and keep the cottages clean and pest-free for everyone. Thank you again for choosing our cottage and for taking the time to share your experience. We truly appreciate the positive feedback and would be very happy to welcome you back for another stay at Taylorsville Lake!

Loved staying in this lake resort cottage. Great communication from host. This is located in a gated community/resort. It was a perfect location, centralized for visiting both Louisville, Frankfort, and Lexington. The hot tub was awesome to enjoy under the night sky. Very clean and communication was top notch. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. Gorgeous setting on Taylorsville Lake. Can't wait to return with more members of our family, as it was just myself and husband for a long weekend.

Cottage was beautiful. The snacks were a great added touch and my daughter loved them. The hot tub was hot-just needed some more chlorine.Communication with the owner was quick and any issues were addressed (had an issue with the shared parking-the other cottage made it difficult to park and if continued into next day she would have talked to that owner-it was fine and we made due knowing it was a shared driveway.) Check in was smooth, code worked flawlessly. Would definitely stay here again-views of the lake were beautifull from the upstairs master.

Weekend get away

We arrived late on Friday with no problems. The house was very clean with lots of supplies. Very nicely decorated. Amy the host was great. I highly recommend this lake house.

The property was beautiful! The resort the cottage is located in was very nice, and had a lot of green spaces to walk our dogs. Pictured is the view from the master bedroom balcony, where we took our coffee in the mornings. The rooms were very nice, the hot tub was easy to access and in perfect condition. We also really appreciated all the light switches being labelled! The host was also very communicative and made the check-in and check-out process smooth. If there were 10 stars I would give them!
