El dormitorio principal en el segundo piso tiene balcón con vista al lago con una cama queen size. El dormitorio # 2 también está arriba y tiene 2 camas de tamaño completo. . GBL fue construido en 1994.

Pesque desde su propio muelle a solo unos pasos del porche trasero. Captura de bagre, boca grande, ojos rojos, branquias azules, etc. El lago es un lago único para curricán, por lo que no hay grandes olas que interrumpan tu juego.

We loved the property, and all the extras made it nice. I love the coffee bar. The fishing was good, and we loved the firepit and all the places to sit and enjoy the outdoors. It has a nice hot tub also. Its pet and kid friendly. We will definitely be back.

Excellent basecamp for Bourbon Trail

Loved staying at this great cabin on a lake. First time doing the Bourbon Trail and this place was ideally located. Very clean and easy check in. Would stay here again.

Cute cottage tucked away on a quiet lake. Multiple distilleries and horse farms within easy driving distance. House was clean and had all we needed, but bring firewood and charcoal for the grill. Host was responsive to any questions or concerns. Tip for those with kids or guests who prefer privacy, two of the beds are in the open area at the top of the stairs between bedrooms. We had a comfy stay and would recommend.

Repeat stay

Second year in a row we stayed during our guys trip to Kentucky! Great central location for hitting many distilleries and still have a comfortable place to relax in the evenings. Love the covered deck facing the water, fire pit, grilling steaks, etc.

Great place. Neighbor's across the lake were drunk and loud, hut rather peaceful otherwise. Lots of bluegill in the lake. House needed a little work, but homey. Not for 8 grown people. Twin bed pics are a little deceiving, as they are on the floor in the hall between the two bedrooms.

Perfect!

The location and amenities were perfect for us. We were in town for the bourbon trail and it was a perfect location. Being able to come back and sit by the fire, fish or sit in the hot tub was a perfect end to each day. Sherry was very quick to respond when we had questions about the house or the area. We will definitely stay here when we come back. Highly recommend!!!

The house was great. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed, including k-cups, sweeteners, everything else for coffee. Plenty of dishes and silverware. It even had all the items to make smores. I do wish there was firewood at the house, but we just went to the store and got some. Please be aware the lake is not swimmable. We did bring our kayaks to use on the lake, but you wouldn't want to swim in it.

Peaceful and Beautiful

We stayed for an extended weekend and loved it. The cabin looks small on the outside, but is so roomy and cute on the inside. The back porch is the best to drink coffee and enjoy the wildlife in the morning. A 60 second walk takes you directly to the lake and a fishing dock. The kids loved catching Bass, Perch, Catfish, and turtles. We rented two kayaks and just enjoyed the time away from home. The bourbon and fishing decor was spot on. This is definitely a great place to stay and is within an easy drive to most of Kentucky’s tourist attractions.

Amazing Hospitality

Our stay didn’t go as planned as it rained, snowed and was cold the whole time. However the home was very nice and the little touches, like a basket a snacks, stocked bathroom supplies made the stay very enjoyable.The owners go above and beyond to make it feel homey unlike most rentals we have used.

We really enjoyed our time at the Lake House. It was very cozy and comfortable. It is not a three-bedroom house but does sleep 8 people well.

We just got married (May 2022). We are disciples of Christ and enjoy being active with making new disciples. My daughter is a Senior at the University of Kentucky. My favorite thing about the Goose Branch Lake House is sitting on the back porch in the early morning with coffee just watching nature and the people on the water. I find the greatest pleasure in living simply while I'm there. Slow down and relax.

LAKE LIFE!! Centrally located on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Make this your bourbon trail HQ to see more distilleries during your stay. Located approximately 45 minutes from Lexington, but only 30 minutes to the Keeneland Racehorse Track and an hour from Louisville.

Walk from the back porch down to the dock in your back yard with your fishing pole to fish. Enjoy watching kayaks and boats meander by on the water.
