You will be 2 minutes away from the scenic St. Croix River and Selma’s Ice cream Parlor in Historic Downtown Afton, 18 minutes from Downtown Stillwater, and 11 minutes away from Afton Alps. So, whether you are looking for a couple’s escape, a family getaway, or a girls' weekend, you will have plenty of room to relax and unwind
Experience the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort at our spacious ranch home. Between walking trails and 3 acres of mowed yard, this property is perfect for yard games - like bocce ball, hiking, and bonfires (firewood supplied). Whether you’re looking for activities or the views, this lovely, quiet spot has rock gardens full of ferns and other plant life. Deer and turkeys may pay you a visit.
The jewel of this home is the master bedroom. It’s absolutely AMAZING!! With hardwood floors, a 19ft vaulted ceiling, patio door that leads to a East facing deck to catch the morning sun, window-framed california king-sized bed, a cedar-lined walk-in closet with a spiral staircase leading to the loft, TV, and a fireplace, this room is the perfect place to feel relaxed and luxurious. Enjoy a jacuzzi tub or stand up shower in the attached master bathroom after your exciting day.
The great room area is spacious and inviting with an open floor plan and two walls of floor-to-ceiling glass that lead to a large wraparound wooden deck, allowing light to brighten up the entire space! This property is perfect for viewing the abundant wildlife and for hosting large groups. Deck leads to a 22x16 patio suitable for large get-togethers. The deck and patio give a perfect view of the family horses; Annie the Palomino and Scout the Paint! Fully furnished with a 75” HDTV with streaming abilities.
The kitchen area is warm and inviting with elegant cherry wood cabinets and Mesabi Black granite countertops. Stainless steel appliances with a double oven, trash compactor, dishwasher, French door refrigerator, 5-burner cooktop, cabinet-mounted microwave, and radiant heated floors make the kitchen an enjoyable place to cook and fellowship. With a kitchen table that seats 8 meal times are sure to be a blast. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the supplies you may need! Feel free to use whatever is available, free of charge!
Bath and hand towels available for guest use as well as a washer and dryer on the lower level.
Fellowship together in the game room that opens up to the patio. Throw darts, watch the game, or play pool on the full-sized, slate pool table.

Seasonal Activities:
Spring/Summer: Walk/Hike/Bike in nearby state parks and trails. Take a riverboat ride or see glacial potholes in Taylors Falls. Visit local wineries and restaurants as well as shopping centers in Woodbury, Stillwater, and Hudson.
Fall/Winter: Fall colors are amazing in the St. Croix River Valley. Enjoy a bonfire or take a walk/hike. In the winter, you can visit Afton Alps (6.2mi), Trollhaugen (39mi), and Wild Mountain (48 mi) for skiing/snowboarding/tubing. Don’t want to leave? Shoot pool, play darts and board games, watch a movie, or just kick and relax with your friends or family.

That dreaded cleaning fee… yes, we have to charge it! But, in exchange, we only ask that you don’t leave food out and please put dishes in the dishwasher. Don’t worry about stripping beds, vacuuming, etc… we’ve got it!
Designed to accommodate up to 10 guests, this 3-bedroom, 3-bath retreat is ideal for family getaways, retreats, or country escapes. Children are warmly welcomed, and the property is well-suited for hosting events.

Arrival: House is located around a bend with many trees. It can come up quickly so keep an eye out for it. There is a long driveway to parking spots. Feel free to park wherever works best. When exiting, it can be helpful to roll down the driver's side window to listen for any cars that might be coming as visibility to the left is low.
