Idlewild at Duck Harbor Resort

Welcome to Duck Harbor! If your Lake Taneycomo vacation is for fishing, look no further. This one bedroom lakeside cabin is right next to the public launch and comes with a boat slip. Each cabin has a full bathroom and a kitchenette with a stove, oven and full sized refrigerator. Outside is a picnic table and bbq grill. If you don`t want to cook, Branson is only 15 minutes away by car where you will find plenty of great places to eat. There is also a hot tub in the gazebo.

While the host was very nice, sadly the property needs some care. Perhaps some older fishermen wouldn’t mind but even the ones I know would. The grass needed mowed, there are repairs needed inside and the dishes were put away dirty.

The two beds in the bedroom was kinda hard and the bed room stayed kinda warm I'm glad we brought a fan with us. The living room had like a futon with no blankets and wasn't very big. The place was small. It says it sleeps 4 but maybe only 3 would be better.
