About Cindy Pierce
We have lived on the gulf coast all our lives, but the mountains call us back constantly. We have been visiting this area for over 30 years and decided that this is where we wanted to purchase a second home. We hope that it will give you as much rest and relaxation as well as family memories as it has given us.
Cindy Pierce purchased this Cabin in 2012
Why Cindy Pierce chose Waynesville
We decided to purchase Angel Puppy to fullfill one of our life long dreams and to introduce the 'mountain experience' to others!
What makes this Cabin unique
The front screened porch offers many opportunities to watch the sun rise and set. Watch for the turkeys that cross the road and keep your eye open for bear!!! And when the season is right, watch the night sky light up with lightning bugs! We strive to provide our guests with the best quality stay, comgy beds, good quality linens, a stocked kitchen, and all the comforts of home. Best of both worlds where you can unplug to recharge your spirit and still have the option of being connected with wifi capability and satellite and dvd player.

Nice and isolated, yet convenient
Easy, clean, felt like home. Warm and inviting. Bed was just right for me, but a bit hard for my better half. Steep drive with sharp switch backs, but we made it with our crew cab F250. Shorter vehicles make it easier I'm sure. Location above town is excellent. Enjoyed 20+ turkeys roaming around and actually roosted close by. Saw them again at daylight high in the hardwoods. Great weekend!
Thank you so much! We enjoyed welcoming you both!
Lots of positives and a few negatives
*location! Great place close to grocery stores and food.
*Easy access to surrounding areas
*Quiet and beautiful
*charming cabin with amenities
*easy to communicate with property manager
*could go on great walks around the cabin
*the crazy steep driveway was fun to drive on
*views of the surrounding mountains
*beautiful front porch, fire pit (we didn't get to use since it rained) but gorgeous
*kids loved the loft area upstairs and the beds were great for them
*the stairs!! just so amazing!! loved the railing
*The bedroom downstairs is so small, with no closet space. Not a huge problem since upstairs has a huge closet. But my kids were staying upstairs so my husband and I just kept our things in a suitcase on the floor.
*no full length mirror downstairs, even though it was just hiking clothes would be nice to see how I looked with out going upstairs
*The BED! I never complain but the bed seems to be a full sized bed and not even a queen. We aren't large people and it was just impossible to sleep together. So I opted to sleep on the couch to get "some" sleep. Coming from a soft king sized bed to a hard full basically meant no sleep for me. The hubby slept great alone lol which isn't exactly what we planned for our 20yr anniversary trip :( to me the master bed is the most important feature!! especially after LONG days of hiking
*the driveway was unexpected! it was fun, but you'd have to have four wheel if it was snowing or icy! no way you will make it up or down with out it. It was questionable for us with so much rain. We held our breath more than once. not really a negative just need to be aware!
We really enjoyed our stay and I hate to say anything bad against the space. But I just couldn't get past the "master bedroom" bed! For the price it was great. I hated to not give 5 stars....but that bed!
We enjoyed welcoming you and your family!!! Thank you for the comments and suggestions! These roads can be intimidating if you’re not used to the mountains, but I agree they can be fun!
Great weekend getaway!
Cabin was comfortable and accessible to Waynesville and Maggie Valley. We were very pleased with the cabin and will definitely stay here again.
Thank you so much Don and we enjoyed welcoming you to Angel Puppy!!! Repeat guests get perks!!!! Best to you!
We enjoyed our stay. Everything was ready when we arrived andJu Just as advertised it was secluded but everything was accessible that we wanted to do. The manager Shannon Herring was very responsive and helpful. Cabin was neat and clean and well supplied with essentials.
Thank you so much for Mrs Sherry!!!! We’d love to welcome y’all back!!!!
Weekend get away
Great location for those wanting to be close to everything. Still had plenty of privacy. Well equipped cabin.
Thank you David for the positive feedback
Our home is centrally located near Maggie Valley, Lake Junaluska and Waynesville, NC. The best of both worlds. Convenient to local Hwy.19 (Soco Road) that will take you within minutes east to Waynesville and Lake Junaluska or west to Maggie Valley. And only 30 minutes from Ashville, home of The Biltmore!
