Nice property, definitely rustic. Would not want to be there during snowy/wet times due to steep roads, but beautiful when sunny and dry!

It was beautiful and relaxing. A little sketchy on the roads when snowing for some Texans like us, but it was well managed. Shot trip to the casinos but what we really loved was the town 30 minutes away the owners recommended with great restaurants and breweries. If you’re looking for a mountain getaway, this is a great one!

Great secluded get away

Very nice secluded cabin to get away from busy life! There are hikes and Nederland close by if you want to get out, or just staying at the comfy cabin with all needed amenities is also a nice option!

This is the perfect mountain get away. It’s tucked away in the woods but is also close to town. We mostly used it as a home base and went out exploring nature during the day. This cabin is in a great location, go any direction and you will find something beautiful. This cabin is stocked with whatever you could need and owners were great at communicating.

Wonderful time

We loved our time at this beautiful house- relaxing with the mountain views, watching the swallows and hummingbirds over morning coffee, and enjoying the stars at night.

What a gorgeous stay. The views up here are incredible. I was a little worried that my sedan wouldn't make the climb in the summer, but we faired just fine, and the experience was worth it. We wanted a disconnect in the mountains and that's exactly what we got.

Good spot for weekend get away

The house was great. The open kitchen/dining/ family room was set up well for a weekend get away with family/friends. Only complaints… 1) there’s a great hot tub, but no extra towels for use at the hot tub, and 2) weeds (even poison oak) very overgrown around hot tub and fire pit.
