Welcome to The Highview at Stump Pass Place Resort on Manasota Key. Come as you are, kick off your shoes, and immerse yourself into this little tropical Paradise. Located on the southern tip of Manasota Key, we enjoy offering couples and family's a wonderful value added vacation and a great guest experience as well.

At our resort you will feel right at home the minute you arrive. From the Tiki Bar with built TV and YETI cooler, to the lush tropical landscaping and spotless accommodation, we like to think we've thought of everything to make your stay both memorable and enjoyable.

NO ferries or water taxi needed. Just drive over the bridge to our island and enjoy your freedom and spontaneity.

Enjoy this 4 bedroom, 2 Bath duplex overlooking The Gulf and Lemon Bay. Each floor has its own separate entrance. Each floor has two bedrooms, one bath, kitchen, living room and private decks. This unique configuration allows everyone to be together on the property, but still have the ability to retire in complete privacy at any time. Watch the waves roll on to the beach from all decks and windows. Enjoy the roof top deck offering panoramic water views of The Gulf, Lemon Bay, and some of the best sunrises and sunset you will ever see!

Just a 30 second walk to our deeded beach path or a just 3 minute walk to Stump Pass State Park at the end of our street. Here you can go to the beach, launch the water toys, and make lifelong memories. Stump Pass State Park has one of the most beautiful pristine beaches in all of Florida!

Make sure to take full advantage of our FREE beach cruiser bikes, Kayaks, Sups, beach wagons, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, coolers and more!!

While inside, walk freely around the open floor plan. There's WIFI, four bedrooms with high quality linens, and 4 flat screen TVs. Enjoy cooking your favorite meal in one of two fully equipped kitchens. The comfortable open Living room has a large flat screen HDTV, and beautiful Gulf and beach views.

Love the outdoors? you'll feel right at home here. Cook out on one of our Weber grills. The picnic area and tables are nestled in sea shells. Found some great stuff at the beach???...Wash off your bounty in the custom built shell cleaning station.

Enjoy the enclosed open top outdoor shower with hot and cold running water and blue sky views. Walk around the property sipping a cool drink and be swept away by the lush tropical landscaping that surrounds The Highview.

The wildlife here is amazing. You will see pelicans diving for fish, Osprey in tree tops, dolphins and manatee swimming the shoreline. Sea turtles lay eggs here every year and don't forget to look for prehistoric sharks teeth (not hard to find) and go shelling at the point.

As a family we had a very good time. I wish I would have known (probably my own fault), that this is 2 separate units. So we were together in the same house, but separate units. Nice area, great things for kids, teenagers, adults to do. Would definitely go again.

We all loved our stay!

This Duplex was perfect for our large family. Plenty of parking for our 4 cars. The kids & adults loved having the BBQ area, Kayaks and bikes. All in great shape and working order! Both 2/1's were clean. Home is walking distance to the beach and a quick ride to the local restaurants, publix, starbucks etc. Management replied to my messages quickly.

Holiday Beach Time

The pictures on the listing are exactly what you will see when you arrive and we were so impressed with everything this place had to offer. We had 10 in our group (18 and up) and it was great. The beach was a short walk, lots of nearby restaurants and things to do. We would return. One suggestion is to have some lights by the grills in the future. The Tiki area on the lower level was great for watching all the new year football bowl games!

Even Better Than Advertised

This house is super clean and updated. We rented both units. We had everything we needed. The location to Stump Pass Park is perfect. Even with smaller children we didn’t miss not having a pool at all. They were plenty entertained exploring Stump Pass. Would definitely rent this again! This our first time renting a golf cart when staying on Manasota Key and will always do that for now on!

Everything you need and more

2 separate apartments were very nice so our babies could sleep in one while we gathered in one. The unit even had a crockpot which I always bring mine so suppers are easy after a day at the beach. We had so much fun gathering shark teeth and shells. Nice beach chairs and wagon for hauling was super nice too! The only thing my girls would have liked was a full length mirror but I was absolutely fine without seeing a full length view of my beach body😂

Great house, Awesome View, Plenty of Toys

We rented both units, they are identical 2br, 1 ba each, separate stairs & entry ways. Great communication, impeccably clean, cold AC, well maintained. A great vacation! The ‘end of stay’ cleaning was a little excessive but probably because we left on an early flight out. If you’re familiar with the area you know what the area is like. Really good restaurants, beach access 1/4mi away — we didn’t understand how to bring 6 kayaks to the beach without using the car — I really thought the beach access was way closer from the description. We used the awesome bikes everyday. If you have young kids or elderly or mobility impaired folks traveling, know that the stairs to Unit 7 are plentiful and steep. Really beautifully remodeled with nice furniture, fully stocked kitchen (supplies & tools not spices), awesome amenities. We loved our stay — 14yr olds up to the 49yo and 7 folks in between!

Thanks for the 5 stars and wonderful review Tonya! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! If I may, I would just like to clear up a few things for potential guests so they are well informed. Google maps will confirm the walk from this house at 1105 Shoreview drive to the kayak launch at the entrance of Stump Pass State Park is just 4 minutes. We have three kayak carts that hold 2 kayaks each so six can paddle together at anytime. Our welcome packet provided prior to arrival states we do not supply open consumables like spices or condiments as it would be unsanitary to do so. Guests can expect, and we are glad to provide, all the Soap/shampoo, dish detergent, Windex, two rolls of paper towels, four rolls of toilet paper, garbage bags, sponges, dishwasher cubes, laundry detergent and a free use of our washer/dryers. They're all on site and free of charge. Our three story home is required to have staircases. They are not steep in anyway, and are all of standard height & width. We're so glad you enjoyed the fresh remodeling job and fantastic water views! Thank for staying with us and we hope to have you back again soon!

They thought of everything

We really enjoyed our stay at Highview. Our family rented both units for the week. Every morning we enjoyed coffee on the roof with the ocean breeze and first light. The home was comfortable and the hosts thought of everything. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, coolers, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and even carts to haul all the gear to the beach. The bikes and kayaks were great. We went kayaking on the bay several times and enjoyed paddling up to the point where the bay joins the gulf where we saw manatees and dolphins on several occasions. We also liked to walk up to this point on the beach in the morning. The home was clean and there were clear instructions for everything. We had everything we could need. The place is very cute and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable. We spent most of our days on the porch playing games and waiting for the cooler afternoons. We loved the area. It was quiet and not touristy at all. There were tons of shells and shark teeth on the beach. It was a great place for a vacation.

A very nice place

Our family of 10 stayed in units 6 and 7. The units were very clean and organized. Communication with staff was great for check in. There is one bathroom on each floor which was a bit challenging for our size of group and I wish that I would have read the description closer. Much of the beach is restricted by property owners (which I have not experienced before). Therefore, it is a fairly short walk to the beach— but feels longer with toting beach equipment, heat, and not being able to set up in front of certain houses. Charcoal grills were not easy to use- but we figured it out… not real convenient. Access to kayaks, paddle boards., etc., was a big bonus- but you must have a vehicle that is large enough to transport them to the launch (in the park, 1/2 mile approx away). We did a tour with Native Charter Company and their customer service was fantastic. They are only a short distance away from the home.

Thanks for the 5 stars and feedback! Not sure where you went to the beach or kayak launch but they are both located just inside Stump Pass State park at the end of our street. Just a 4 minute walk and definitely no need for a car. The carts and wagons we provide for the beach gear and watercraft make the walk a breeze. There are no houses at our beach. Just long pristine stretches of sand, jumping dolphin at the cut, and many interesting trails to the bay for your enjoyment. There are some houses to the north but you can still walk the entire length of Manasota Key with no restrictions. Our guests consistently walk the beaches there and find some of the most stunning prehistoric sharks teeth and shells in Florida. So glad you figured out how to use the Weber grills. They're fun to use and before you know it, the wonderful smells of grilling on vacation are in the air! We're so glad you found everything to be super clean and our check in process great! Quaint, relaxing & FAMILY friendly

I’m not one to write reviews but WOW what a nice surprise. We didn’t know much about the area and chose this location without much research. Home owners have thought of everything. Our group had both units and ranged from 10 to 70 years old. Something for everyone with a clean comfy home(s), pretty much anything you need for kitchen needs, charcoal grills, outdoor shower, onsite laundry, etc. Endless assortment of toys with bikes. SUP boards, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, coolers and carts to manage it all. Location we found to be relaxing and comfortable. We say tripped to Sanibel and Fort Meyers and young ones wanted to know when we could go back to ‘our’ beach. You’re not directly on the sand but we didn’t find that to be an issue for our group. Access is a few houses down and then the state park at the end of the street. Beach was great. Plenty of space to spread out. Shells are plentiful and variety was surprising. Manatee and dolphins in the surf on occasion. Fun spot for young and old. Communication with the owners was excellent with prompt response. Very nice.

Great Family Weekend

We went with my family and rented both units. They were both very clean and well stocked. We loved having access to the bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, grills. The laundry room was well stocked with tons of beach toys, chairs, coolers, and umbrellas. The beach was a short walk away so the beach carts came in handy with everything that we ended up bringing down to the beach for the kids. We watched (what we could,it was behind another tall house) the sunset and sunrise from the rooftop deck. Grilled out for dinner 2 of the 3 nights. I went down to the public beach by bike one morning to do the yoga on the beach class. One thing to keep in mind is that when they say that they need you out promptly at 10am, they aren't joking. We were all packed up and just finishing up the check-out list (you have to wash all of the towels before you go which is a first for us, but not a huge deal) and saying our goodbyes. It was 9:50 and the cleaning people show up, sitting in the driveway just staring at the house because our cars will still in the driveway. It was just odd. Other than that, we had a great time and would go back. It was a great trip.

Glad you enjoyed the the rooftop deck and grilling out too. So sorry you misinterpreted our check out instructions. Our check out list does allow guests to leave their last minute bath towels and bedding. That way their departure is much easier. In order to provide a level of cleanliness our guests boost about in reviews, we like to start cleaning promptly at 10 am. I understand time is very precious while on vacation so we have instructed all cleaning crews to not arrive a few minutes early. Glad you had a great time, a great trip and would stay with us again. Amazing Vacation

What a wonderful week we had. We were a family group of 5 adults and 5 children (ages 6,7,8,9 and 10). From the moment we arrived until we left this morning there was not a dull moment. The house was immaculate and there wasn’t a thing we needed that wasn’t there. The grandchildren were very impressed with all the fun water things the home provided for their entertainment at the beach. We would all highly recommend this rental.
