Nice unit, perfect size for two people. Central location, walking distance to most things in Elkhart. We stayed in March, so things were really quiet. Easy check-in process and the hosts were easy to communicate with. Very clean. We'll take a look next time we're in town.

Amazing Stay In Elkhart Lake

We recently stayed 16 nights in this charming bungalow-style condo in Elkhart Lake, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The space was spotless upon arrival and stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful porch quickly became our favorite spot to unwind, and the location couldn’t have been better being just steps away from the lake and the pool and surrounding restaurants and resorts. Communication with the hosts was excellent from start to finish. They were responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We truly couldn’t have been happier and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Perfect Weekend Getaway in Elkhart Lake

We had such a wonderful stay at The Back Porch condo! The space was cozy and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway. We especially loved the porch area, which offered both a table and soft seating options—perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The condo was just the right size for two people and in a prime location, walkable to everything in downtown Elkhart, including great restaurants, shops, and live music venues. The condo’s pool and hot tub were phenomenal, and the spacious private beach was an added bonus, and was made even better by being right next to the Tiki Bar and the boat rental company for the lake. It really felt like we had everything at our fingertips. Jeremy and the team were fantastic, answering every question we had promptly and making sure our stay was seamless. They never led us astray with food and activity recommendations which was incredibly helpful. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to any couple looking for the perfect Elkhart Lake getaway!

Just Perfect

The Back Porch was a delightful little get-away location. The photos shown on the website are an exact replica. The space was very clean and well appointed with decor as well as with all of our kitchen needs; they even provided coffee pods. The actual covered Back Porch was perfect for our one rainy morning, with supportive pillows and small tables to hold our coffee mugs. When the sun came out, it was time for the beach. The host provided plush (beautiful) beach towels that came in super handy. The beach which had nice lounge chairs and a fun floating deck the water was so CLEAR! The association could do a better job with maintaining the area but the view from the beach out to the water was fabulous and completely worth a few bits of trash. The tiki bar, also managed by the association needs some major love and I don't recommend. However a short walk down the sidewalk, there is a perfect outdoor bar on the water at the Ostoff hotel. Additionally, the Back Porch is in a short walking distance to downtown where you can have a wonderful dinner at the Paddock or the Lake Street Cafe followed by dessert at Gesserts; a charming ice cream parlor. Before coming into town, I highly recommend a quick stop at the Throttle Car Museum... completely free and provides an absolutely stunning collection of cars and motorcycles. Our host Jeremy was super attentive and patient with me... answering all of my questions prior to booking. We would book again in a heartbeat.
