About the property

Sweeping Vistas, Spectacular Lodge With 5 Br + Loft & Den 5.2 Baths (sleeps 16)

Above All (but One) … The name says it all…

Unmatched in luxury and location, our beautiful mountaintop lodge exudes quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail second to none, and spectacular views beyond compare!

Overlooking the entire length of the Great Smoky National Park, Wears Valley, and Pigeon Forge, Above All (but One) is a custom built, true-log home, that enjoys unbelievable views from a semi-secluded setting at the very top of Pine Mountain. Only our sister cabin, Screamin Eagle Lodge (VRBO# 903569), shares this exclusive location!

And nearly as spectacular as those views, is the home itself!

Massive logs, both inside and out; trim work that has to be seen to be appreciated; beautiful carvings, luxurious furnishings and tasteful décor all combine to make this a truly one-of-a-kind home, where no detail was missed!

Guests at Above All (but One) will enjoy sleeping in any of our 5 king-bed suites; each with their own private bath and outdoor access. Three suites have stacked stone surrounded Jacuzzi tubs in their private bathrooms, while the upper two have their own private balconies from which to take in the views.

But, these are not the only spots from which to enjoy a view. Whether gazing out of the expansive glass windows, or seated along the 1200+ feet of wraparound porches and balconies, guests at Above All (but One) are treated to unrivaled views and ever-changing vistas all day long!

There is something magical about watching the mist drift over the low-lying valleys before the sun rises over the Great Smoky Mountains to the east – to say nothing of the breathtaking sunsets that spread over Wears Valley each evening. After enjoying some drinks, dinner, and a game of shuffleboard or pool in our game-room, settle into the hot-tub to take in the stars above and the lights of Pigeon Forge below. Truly Amazing!

Many ads boast of a million-dollar view; but few actually have the land, the location and the home to match!

Above All (but One) is truly a home beyond compare!

Why Glenn Fielitz chose Pigeon Forge

The location, the view, the quality of construction; this home has everything!

We worked with our realtor for months, combing over every listing available. We literally toured dozens of properties - then we discovered this one! There was no going back from that point! Outside of our sister-cabin, Screamin' Eagle Lodge, this home has no equal in the area!

What makes this cabin unique

Unlike so many properties that boast of mountain views, our home enjoys the almost unheard of luxury of a mountaintop setting AND an actual flat yard from which to enjoy the beautiful outdoors! Our home is firmly attached to a real yard, not perched on stilts or sandwiched between dozens of other cabins. If a property only shows a closely cropped pictures of the outside or the view alone, you can be pretty sure what you can look forward to!

At Above All but One, guests can play a game of horseshoes or grill in your own private back yard.

Less than 5 miles to Dollywood, or 2.5 miles to downtown Pigeon Forge, yet worlds apart!

Outstanding property for a couples retreat or a family reunion. Larger groups could be accommodated by simultaneously booking our sister cabin, Screamin' Eagle Lodge (VRBO 903569), which is located right next door (just above) and has the same 5 king suite arrangement and luxury finishes!

Elegant with Amazing Views!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at many cabins in the Pigeon Forge area and this by far has been the most amazing views! The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Loved that each level had separate thermostats! The pool table and table shuffleboard were a huge hit with the entire family! The cabin is very spacious. Loved all the Christmas decorations and detailed wood work throughout the cabin! We would certainly come back!

My family and I loved staying at your beautiful home. Great view, location and even better lay out of the house. Can’t wait to come back in the summer.

Beautiful and welcoming!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was a place for our family to come from multiple states and get away together. While it started out as an opportunity to disconnect, it ended up being a place where we never felt more connected! The cabin is designed so 4-5 families can be really comfortable, offering plenty of space for everyone to have their own retreat and little things like an ensuite bathroom in each bedroom, balcony access from each suite, multiple gas fireplaces, and independent thermostats near every room made everyone feel right at home. There were at least 3 pullout couches so the kids could camp out in common spaces, and the cabin has an alarm system so we could monitor any kids trying to leave the house (not that they did!). There was a beautiful game room with a pool table and the cabin also had a washer and dryer, full size, which was really convenient. The balconies were perfect and the wood features throughout included animal carvings, which was a very nice touch. We all enjoyed sun rises and sun sets from the cabin porches, and the views from that height on the mountain were breathtaking. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prep food for 7 days, and aside form a few lady bugs in the upstairs bedrooms and internet connection challenges (it worked on day 1, then no one could connect to it - not that we cared much though) we had no complaints about the cabin. There was even a hot tub outside that was amazing to sit in at night and over look the city below and the stars above! Definitely recommend for any family, whether yours is the "glamping" type or you like to rough it a bit, this location will be perfect. Lots of hiking trails nearby, fun stuff like zip-lining and horseback riding, plenty of family friendly things to do and places to shop in the nearby town, and no shortage of restaurants and entertainment shows. We plan to go back for another holiday and highly suggest anyone consider this place for a mountain getaway!

Incredible Mountain Memories!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely LOVED our stay at this incredibly beautiful mountain retreat! We picked Pigeon Forge this year for our annual family vacation (6 adults and 5 grandkids) and were delighted to be able to stay in this amazing home. Plenty of room for all to spend time together or wander off to a quiet place to soak in the beauty of this part of Tennessee. Glenn was absolutely wonderful to work with, and was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Our adult kids and grandkids had a great time in the game room playing shuffle board and pool, and it provided an ideal spot for them to gather. The views from all the rooms in the house are stunning, and we were able to spot and observe wildlife from the porches without disturbing them. We were hoping to see a bear from the safety of the porches but that just didn't happen this time around -- hopefully, next time! The kitchen was fully stocked and we loved that the dining room table was able to accommodate all 11 of us together. We also enjoyed the hot tub after a fun day of exploring the area. We definitely recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking for the perfect base for all of the adventures that are available in and around Pigeon Forge and we'll definitely hope to return soon. Thank you, Glenn, for sharing this beautiful home with us!

Fantastic View

  • 5 of 5

Our family of twelve stayed at this wonderful home for a week. We found the view spectacular and the home was beautiful and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We cooked most of our meals at the house and enjoyed the horse shoe pit and pool table. Dollywood, Speedway go carts, and Alpine Coaster were fun for all. Shopping at the Island, Tanger, and many other specialty shops was profitable. We visited Cades Cove and Forbidden Caverns. We had some four legged furry friends come visit almost every afternoon and they were fun to watch. After a fun day of activities the hot tub was most rewarding and the beds were so comfortable. Glenn was very helpful from the beginning to the end of our visit. Thank you so much for sharing your home!!
