Relax in modern rustic Montana living in this custom home built in 2012. This beautiful home is comprised of a 'Main House' and a 'Bunk House.' The single floor Main House is composed of two bedrooms: a master suite with a king bed, sitting area, walk-in closet, and master bath (separate shower and soaking tub); a guest room with a queen bed, sitting area and private bath (tub/shower combo). The Main House also contains a gourmet kitchen, dining area, family room, powder room and laundry room.
Both bedrooms in the Main House are furnished with new furnishings and extremely comfortable beds. The Master Bedroom looks out to the Whitefish Mountain Range and has door out to cafe table under the covered porch for a great place to enjoy breakfast. Both the Master Bedroom and Guest in the main house are equipped with a LCD flat screen television with cable. The master bath has heated floors, dual sinks and granite countertops.
The kitchen in the main house opens onto the great room, with family room around the large stone fireplace, dining area, card table and powder room. This is the perfect place for all to gather after a busy day of golfing, fishing, swimming, relaxing or any of the other great things this area of Montana has to offer. The family room in the open living area is oriented around a large stone gas fireplace, over which there is large flat screen LCD television that can be viewed throughout. The dining area is furnished with a trestle table that has seating for 8. Additional seating for 6 is available at an antique oak pedestal table which is also the perfect place for a game of cards. The custom kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, under counter lighting and is fully equipped with small appliances, dinnerware, flatware and utensils. The Main House also has a spacious laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer and utility sink.
The Bunk House is attached to the Main House via a covered porch. Inside the Bunk House are two bedrooms and a loft. One of the bedrooms has two twin beds and the other is furnished with a queen bed. Upstairs there is a spacious loft with two twin beds and a sitting area. The Bunk House also has a family room and kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, sink, granite countertops and custom cabinetry. There is adjacent countertop table for two, leather sofa and flat screen LCD television. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo and granite countertops.
Outside the Great Room of the main house, you can relax under the covered porch next to the outdoor gas fireplace and enjoy one of the best views on the Wilderness Club property. This outdoor living room is complete with comfortable love seat and club chairs. Looking across the pond of the fifth hole green you can watch the alpine glow of the sunset on the Whitefish Range. There's also a TV so you won't have to worry about missing the game to enjoy the view.
If you like a traditional wood fire, a wood burning fire pit surrounded by boulders to sit on is available between the main house and bunk house. A gas BBQ and horseshoe pit round-out the outdoor amenities. All of this is enhanced by a landscaped courtyard located between the Main House and Bunk House. There is also a two-car garage and driveway that has plenty of parking space for whatever you bring.

About Erin Bonk
My husband and I both grew up in California before his medical residency took us to Seattle for six years. A job landed us in Salt Lake and we called Utah home for 18 years. Now we are back in California, but always look forward to coming to our Montana home. We have two teenagers in the house, a daughter in high school and son in college. In the summer golf, hiking, outdoor adventures and traveling are our main diversions.
Erin Bonk purchased this House in 2012
Why Erin Bonk chose Eureka
On a family trip through Montana and Alberta, we came across this area of the country and the Wilderness Club. We were drawn to this beautiful corner of Montana with its abundance of lakes and mountains and thought would be a great base from which to explore nearby Glacier, Alberta and British Columbia. We were also looking for somewhere that we would want to bring our children and were drawn to the family oriented plans for the Wilderness Club. With the installation of a fantastic golf course and ongoing development of Wilderness Club amenities, has definitely lived up to our hopes. Our property has the most beautiful views and was able to accommodate our dream vacation home, giving us easy access to every outdoor activity imaginable. Coming here really feels like getting away.
What makes this House unique
Situated on one of the premier lots along the top rated golf course at the Wilderness Club, the relaxing ranch style of this house is a perfect way to spend a vacation. Lots of outdoor living spaces and a unique two structure (Main House and Bunk House) layout which allows everyone plenty of space. The home was built by a local contractor who used all local craftsmen. The beautiful rustic flooring is milled locally and all the cabinetry was made and designed by a local craftsman. From sipping your morning coffee in the outdoor living area to roasting marshmallows over the fire pit while watching the alpine glow on the mountains, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The house is perfect (and I'm picky). Great layout, nice furnishings, excellent kitchen well stocked with spices, plenty of room, lots of games, loved it! The owner (Erin) was so great to work with and we'd rent this house again in a heartbeat.
Location and quality of the house was exceptional
House was immaculate and had everything groups would need for an enjoyable vacation. Erin the host was very flexible and understanding. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a high end property near the Wilderness golf course
Beautiful Home, Gorgeous View
Amazing place to stay. Only wish it could have been a long vacation.
Beautiful home, very clean and had all the amenities of home.
We really enjoyed our stay and will spread the word.
Thank you, Rob Laidlaw
Another great stay at the most fantastic property at Wilderness Club. Our family has stayed a number of times before and this trip was another glowing success. The house is timeless, extraordinarily well-kept and clean. It's as if it was built yesterday. From an effortless and well-communicated arrival through four wonderful days of some of the most beautiful views the world over, this trip was extraordinary. My family feels as though this home is their home every time we stay and it's always hard to leave. Erin and her well picked team think of everything and then some to make our stays here some of the best holiday time we have.
We had a great family vacation staying at the Wilderness Club! Beautiful location and well stocked!
The photos of the property don't do it justice! It was a great place for our family to base our summer holiday from. We enjoyed coffee on the patio in the morning while watching the golfers try their hand at the par three fifth.
The house and bunk house are both very well stocked, clean and very comfortable.
We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Erin!
Located in the northwestern corner of Montana on the banks of the Tobacco River is Eureka. Each year this friendly community hosts annual events, including Rendezvous Days and the Lincoln County Fair, that provide visitors with a taste of small-town hospitality. The town keeps history alive with the Tobacco Valley Historical Village, a collection of restored buildings and structures from the 1880s to 1920s. Eureka also provides easy access to nearby lakes—such as the Ten Lakes Scenic Area—and surrounding Forest Service lands with miles of hiking trails, fishing streams, camping areas, groomed snowmobiling trails and cross-country skiing trails.
