Great family getaway

The property is clean, newly updated and spacious with an open concept floor plan. The A/C is more than adequate. The property is located on a picturesque inlet off of the bay with plenty of backyard space, a hot tub, decks with outdoor furniture and a game room downstairs.

Nice weekend stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The house was nicely updated. There was plenty of space for six adults. Nice decision to change the twin beds to full size beds. Wish we had more time to enjoy the back patio. .

Stayed with two families - 4 adults and four kids ranging in age from 10 to 17. Adults loved the open entertainment space on 1st floor, bedroom sizes, and overall maintenance of home. Kids enjoyed the jacuzzi, number and size of TVs, and kid activities like fooseball and air hockey in basement.

Everything about the house was great! Communication with the host was great and he was very responsive. Check-in was easy and the house was clean. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels, soaps, etc. We all enjoyed the games in the basement and the hot tub was a huge bonus! There was plenty of space for 6 of us to spend several days together. Too bad the weather was rainy and cold, because we would have loved to spend time outdoors next to the water and playing yard games. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to everyone!

Unfortunately, we did not actually stay here. When we arrived, the house had ants in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. The area is not a good area. We would not have been comfortable leaving our car on the street. My daughter was freaked out by the bugs and as such we packed up and left. To his credit, the host did offer to have someone come to spray for bugs and told us where to find his bug spray, but my daughter was uncomfortable and as such we left. The house itself was fine. The pictures make it look significantly nicer than it is. The backyard had garbage from a party including beer bottles and caps lying around which my grandson picked up to show us.

We regret to hear your experience and take every complaint seriously by our guests. We asked for the pics for the ants you saw, but were not provided and though we speedily showed up with ant exterminator, we couldn't find any in the house as you mentioned..even though we took upon ourselves to treat the house regardless to give you a peace of mind. Our neighborhood remains safe and welcoming as mentioned by reviews of our many prior guests on multiple platforms. We are sorry you dont share thesame view.Your group checked in one day after scheduled check in, used some amenities yet some members prefered living somewhere else as captured on security footage. We were understanding and considerate to grant a partial refund regardless. We recognise a change in your travel plans and always understanding to our guest but we stand by the high standards we maintain our property and its surroundings and the security systems and standards we maintain..our guest remain first always.
