We love this cabin. It’s perfect for our pre Christmas celebration. The ski in ski out is the biggest blessing. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was clean.

Had a wonderful time getting all the grandkids together to celebrate Christmas and enjoy skiing. Snow conditions were great. Being slopeside was a game changer. Great location.House has a good layout and is very functional and easy

This cabin is nestled right on the slope side. It was extremely clean, and spacious. The pool table and hot tub were definitely favorites!

Papa's biennial family vacation

The 14 members of my family and I take a vacation somewhere every other year. In 2023 we selected the Cannan Valley, West Va. We stayed vrbo's Mountain Near House on Timberline Mountain, a local ski area. The accommodations were excellent and there was plenty to do even in the summer.

Family Vacation after Covid

The house and property are spectacular. We had a wonderful time. There are so many State Parks in a 7 minute range, so there is so much to do. Mountain Trails is close by for horseback riding. The house itself offers many things to do or just relax in the hot tub!

Highly Recommend! Our family had a wonderful time in the house. The proximity to the slope and the lodge were perfect! The home was very clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. David was extremely attentive and provided binders with activities to do in the area.

Our family really like the location and layout of this property. I had communicated with the owner theough email several times. He was very responsive and accommodating. We did have a wonderful week, but the house does need some updates and repairs.

Quiet family get-together/getaway

House was cozy. We were a big family (3 individual families) with 6 afults and 6 kids ranging from 8-15. The amenities were great. Everyone enjoyed the time together playing pool, building puzzles. Relaxingbin the hot tub, making smores. It was a great little escape to relax and unwind with family. We also enjoyed blackwater falls and the abundance of trails in the area to get out in nature/hiking.

The property owners where great about everything

I lost the email for check in. When we got there they replied right away and we got in. House was perfect for our family and the hot tub was great for the trip. Great location to a lot of hiking. Property was well stocked for cooking all of our meals. Would definitely rent again if we came back to West Virginia thank you so much for the use of your incredible house!

Family vacation

Our family really enjoyed this property. The bedrooms and were layed out perfectly. My brother and sister in law shared the jack and Jil bathroom/bedroom with their kids. The basement had more than enough space for my sister in law and I enjoyed the 3rd upstairs bedroom. The kitchen was more than stocked with cookware and utensils. The towel holder near the door for the hot tub was so easy for the kids. I would recommend this place to anyone needing space for multiple couples or families. We hope to stay here again.

We were in Canaan Valley for a family get together and needed a big house. I looked this one over, booked it and was very impressed with everything about it. The kitchen is very well equipped, plenty of linens and is in a great location.The property manager is very good to work with.Will definitely book it again!

Clean and spacious

My family and I stayed for a four night ski vacation. The house was exactly as described somewhat outdated, but clean. The hot tub was clean, great and relaxing after a day of skiing. Check-in was easy they gave very specific details and directions. We have plenty of supplies for everything we needed with the exception there was no paper towels. We had no complaints except upon departure. We were required to take all of our garbage approximately 2 to 3 miles down the road to a dumpster, which was a little inconvenient. Other than that we had no complaints and would highly recommend this for a large family on a budget.
