GreyWood, enjoy your stay here in this beautiful 3 story custom built log home with Air Conditioning is available again this summer season .
GreyWood is located in a wonderful location at the edge of town with nearby views and access to Glacier National Park. It is situated on 3 acres of meadows, a large lawn and a live stream. Spacious 1200 sq ft of wrap around decks and covered porches give everyone in your group both privacy and room for your larger gatherings. The decks include Adirondack chairs , outdoor dining for 8 , bistro bar with stools and a large Weber grill . Interior of the house features 20’ cathedral ceilings and expansive windows to enhance your unobstructed views of the nearby Glacier Park mountains. Gourmet kitchen, fully stocked with new kitchen aid appliances, wine refrigerator and under the counter mini frig . Ample on-site parking is available for 6 vehicles. Also available, a separate, fully furnished, 1000 ft walk out downstairs apartment. Only Available for GreyWood guests. This apartment also features beautiful views of the meadow, creek and mountains ! Additional fee is required.

GreyWood is adjacent to the Glacier Park Lodge golf course ( the first golf course in Montana !). A short walking distance to historic Glacier Park Lodge , Amtrak railroad depot , art galleries, gift shops, and restaurants. A convenient trailhead into GNP is merely a 10 minute walk from the front door. Two Medicine entrance to GNP is only a 12 minutes drive! It’s a locals favorite for day hiking , boat rides and daily picnics! The massive historic Glacier Park Lodge and its famous flower gardens, various park presentations and fine dining are a few blocks down the street. The Amtrak station is a historic, fully functioning, train depot. It includes a photographic museum of East Glaciers beginnings .

A short drive north allows you access three entrances into GNP: Two Medicine, St. Mary's (Going-to-the Sun Road), and Many Glacier Hotel. Some guests even enjoy crossing the border into Canada to visit Waterton National Park. (Remember to bring your passports)
Whether you’re flying in or driving from Kalispell, Whitefish Bozeman, or Great Falls, East Glacier Park Village is centrally located with convenient access to Glacier National Park .

All appliances and deck furniture back in their original places . Tidy up as best you can . Any unwanted foodstuffs, and bear spray please leave on counter and housekeeping will take care of it.
Check for personal items , anything you mistakenly leave behind we will gladly send it back to you !

Beautiful place. well equipped. Excellent lcoation- c;lose to Two Medicine. The only Concern is that it is advertised as a 3 BR. What it is is two great bedrooms plus a loft, The loft is stair accessible and nice but it is not private and does not have a bathroom. Great for teenagers not necessarily for an adult couple. There is a lockoff available but that is additional to what is already a. hefty price. Superb place if the above does not bother you.

Beautiful home close to Glacier Park Lodge. Very friendly and responsive host. With our family in town for my daughter's wedding, the additional apartment rental below the home really came in handy. More than enough room for our entire group. House was well appointed with all the essentials. Loved being so close to the water. Would stay here again for sure

Perfect place for our group of 2 couples.A third couple cancelled last minute & to be honest the loft bedroom, which was very nice, but did not have a bathroom, which would have been tough at night.For that reason, I would only recommend kids up there.We especially enjoyed the outdoor space after a longday of hiking. There is no Air Conditioning, which was a bit rough but I'm sure they don't get those 90 degree days very often, and I did not notice that when I booked. There were plenty of fans that were provided.The kitchen was one of the best stocked chef kitchens I have seen.Everything I needed was there & organized perfectly.The owner was a pleasure to work with & very quick to respond,The location can't be beat. I love the laid-back East side of the park!

The home is absolutely stunning, impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and in the perfect location for exploring Glacier. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed while giving us the space to fully enjoy our vacation. Excellent vrbo experience, home and host.Great and quick communication. House and beds comfy for 6 adults. Home will have a/c but we did not need it Aug 5-10. Home was cool, clean and very roomy. Ate and played cards at table. Sat on various porches each day in comfy chairs. Quiet area where we could watch golfers finish on 9th hole.Plenty of anything needed in kitchen.Watched black bear for 3 days, once from porch for 20 minutes as it grazed for food.1 hour and 20 to many glacier with no traffic.15 mins to two medicine and no traffic.St Mary not far but we did not stop there. Maybe 1 hour or less.Hit grocery store at middle of town for beer and supplies. Think Montana trading co. Be aware that Blackfeet holiday in August and no alcohol sales for 5 days. Plan ahead.Solterra good and had way burgers and Mediterranean bowls. Food trucks very good and recommend . Northern dining room at east glacier inn ok and more .Summit steak house was a bust for us and very Once again, excellent and beautiful home with great and responsive host

Amazing Glacier vacation spot

Our "Go To" Home in East Glacier Village

We've stayed at this home multiple times starting in 2021 (most recently June 2025) and I can say the home gets better and better. The owner is constantly improving the house, super clean, and is located in a perfect village to use as a base when hiking in East Glacier. I highly recommend staying here when visiting the East side of GNP!

Fabulous cabin! Well Equipped, great views, Super comfortable TV area and bedroom, and a Lovely Deck for stargazing. Convenient access to Two Medicine entrance and not too far for day visits to other park areas. Enjoyed our stay tremendously!

Glacier Quick Trip

We had a really nice stay at the house. Beds were comfortable and it was very clean and well stocked. Only challenge we had was with the Wi-Fi and TV being a bit fussy but the owner was very responsive regarding this. The Wi-Fi was critical because our cell service did not work much in this region.
