This place is my new standard for a rental! The house was immaculate, extremely clean, detailed, and has everything you need. Lorraine was the best host, personalized notes, snacks for our arrival, and cared so much about our time in Folsom giving us so many recommendations, sending some reminders of things to check out like the Saturday Farmer’s Market via text. Super communicative and made things so easy! Walking distance to the historic Folsom river walks and restaurants, this is the place and location you want to be! I traveled here for an Ironman with my family and we could not recommend this place more! If we are ever back in the Folsom area, this is absolutely the place we will be staying it!

This is a beautiful property within walking distance to downtown Folsom. Everything about our stay went extremely smooth. The host was very accommodating and helpful. It’s a beautiful area to visit and explore!

Everything was perfect, the house was as advertised, accommodated my family of 5 adults very comfortably. Lorraine was fantastic! We will stay here again when we return to the area.

Beautiful home included all sorts of goodies for us. Lovely back patio and light setup. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Super great location with a quick walk to downtown. Owners great at communicating.

Lorraine was the perfect host! Great communication before and during our stay. Very nice welcome treats upon our arrival. We loved the house which was nicely decorated and had all the comfort and amenities you can't get from a hotel... plenty of space for everyone in our party. We will definitely book again.

Our group absolutely loved everything about our experience with this property. Lorraine could not have been more responsive, checking in with us each day to make sure there wasn't something she could do for us. The property is beautiful inside and out with each room touting a designers touch. We were greeted with a cute welcome sign and flowers, a basket of wine and goodies. There was a bottle of wine, brie and a delicious spiced pumpkin cake in the fridge to start our stay. The outdoor patio is charming and beautifully designed. The location is a quick walk to charming old town Folsom, yet close to grocery store convenience. All 8 of the women in our college reunion group loved the place so much we're planning on booking it again for next year's reunion. Much thanks to Lorraine for making our reunion extra special. Lorraine was wonderful to work with and extremely responsive from start to finish. Communication was excellent, which made the stay very easy and stress-free. The house was exactly what we needed—quiet, comfortable, and a perfect place to relax after long workdays. We truly appreciated the space and hospitality and would gladly stay here again.

Lorraine was very kind, helpful and generous and her response time is almost immediate.Her home is gorgeous, clean, and so comfortable. It is very well appointed with lovely landscaping and a wonderful patio, including a fire pit.We stayed with our three girls and it was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfy couch and amazing, huge island.We were very happy with the location of the home; close to everything.We loved it so much we already booked another vacation.Thank you, Lorraine. Renee and family took great care of the house and property. It was a treat hosting them. They were great communicators too! I so appreciated their kind words and love of the house and location. She also made me aware of a wall clock that had a cracked/broken frame, and I’ve already ordered a replacement. They respected and treated the house like it was their own. This home is amazing. The host was wonderful. I wish it was possible to rank higher than 5 stars. My family and I stay in a lot of VRBOs and this one blows others out of the water. The home is comfortable, beautifully decorated, walking distance to downtown, and the host was communicative and lovely. Highly recommend.

I have been staying in VRBO homes for over ten years, 3 or 4 times a year. This home is, by far, the best one ever! Communication was perfect and Lorraine made us feel so welcome. The place was spotless and had every amenity you could think of. I really cannot say enough about this home!

What a fantastic home in a great location! The neighborhood is very safe and close to restaurants and shops in old Folsom. Beds are comfortable, house is so nicely decorated, and everything was just perfect. The backyard is a lovely place to gather. Lorraine is a stellar host, so helpful, accommodating, and was in touch throughout our stay, and was there for us if we needed anything. Just an all around fantastic stay.

This is a fantastic, clean, perfectly located house for a weekend in Folsom! The owner was very responsive and there was a ton of room to spend out and relax in the home. It's a great base from which you can explore the surrounding area. My friends and I went rafting and it was an easy drive to the meet-up spot!

This home was amazing! With two living rooms we could spread out and no one had to fight over TV's! The kitchen was beautiful as was the backyard where we could enjoy the afternoon and an adult beverage. We could walk to downtown Folsom really easily and couldn't be happier with our stay!

Birthday Weekend Trip

Overall, the stay was wonderful. Lorraine was a great host who was always quick to respond, house was as described, and check-in and check-out was simple. One of my friends accidentally left a bag and Lorraine notified us right away. Thank you again for being such a great host and for the little birthday touch.

Great big kitchen that accommodated 7 adults. AC was excellent for some but I personally was a bit cold at times. Location was perfect since we did white water rapids which was in Lotus about 40 minutes away. I would definitely come here again. House is immaculate.

Exactly what you would want in a VRBO experience... a great communicating property owner and a beautiful and clean property. Lorraine, was so helpful every step of the way with our trip. She answered our questions about the area and helped us plan our activities. The small touches around the house on our arrival were amazing. She is what every rental owner should strive to be. The house was fantastic! Incredibly clean spacious and well designed. We had 8 adults on our stay and the layout in the house and backyard easily accommodate our group. The house was stocked with everything we needed. The town of Historic Folsom was great too. We had a busy few days and enjoyed the restaurants such as Plank, Fiori, and Crawdads on the Lake which is on the other side of the river. We had a great time at the Powerstation Sunday Blues concert as well. We also were very active on the many miles of amazing bike trails that you can access right from the house. Paddle boarding and kayaking the river was all top notch. We also were very impressed with the great condition of the public pickle ball courts that were not to far away at Lembi ParkThe only downside on our trip is that I will likely now compare other VRBO owners and houses to Lorraine and her beautiful place in Folsom. She has set the bar very high for delivering and catering to her guests. We are definitely looking forward to our next stay.

I was so happy to host Kevin, his family and friends for his birthday celebration. From the start, he was easy to communicate with and asked for recreational and social recommendations. Kevin and group respected the house and property and I could hardly tell there was a group of 8 there. I so enjoyed providing suggestions and welcoming them to the house. The house looked great, garbage taken out, wash started, and counters cleaned! I so look forward to hosting them in the future!

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful Folsom house with our large group of family and friends. The house is truly beautiful. It’s perfectly laid out for a bigger group to enjoy with a large living area connecting off of the beautiful kitchen. The outside sitting areas were very nice to enjoy on a warm evening with the fire pit and plenty of seating. All the bathrooms were gorgeous and had everything we needed. Our whole group kept remarking on how well appointed the house was. We really had just about everything we could’ve needed as we cooked, entertained, and just generally enjoyed the property. The house is so close to the old town Folsom area which we walked to every day and it’s super convenient getting to the lakes and river. Lorraine is an exceptional host. She checked in periodically throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed, but it never felt like she was hovering. She gave us plenty of space to truly enjoy her property. The check out instructions were also very manageable. We look forward to hopefully coming back and staying at the property again. It was perfect!
