House is located on Carlow Island. Carlow Island is part of Eastport, connected by a causeway. To reach Eastport, take 190 off Rt 1.
Enjoy quiet time at the ocean, yet only minutes to downtown Eastport. There you will find shopping, restaurants & downeast charm.
1 floor, open concept, 3 bedrooms with 1.5 bath.
Enjoy walking paths, explore the beach, collect seashells, rocks & sea glass. Or just sit back and enjoy the incredible view!

Nice relaxing place, excellent view and a nice rocky beach for finding sea glass. One evening we even had a momma deer and her 2 babies walk through the back yard. Cute downtown to check out as well- the host had an excellent guide book waiting, and all the amenities we needed.

The property was everything we expected and more! Amazing views, convenient to town but entirely private, and the beach access was priceless. We found lots of sea glass and enjoyed exploring the beach at different tides. The house had everything we needed, and even bonuses like plastic utensils and paper plates for a picnic and marshmallow sticks when we had a fire. If you don’t like to wake with the sun, bring a sleep mask as it has great sunrise views in the front bedrooms. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful Stay on Carlow Island

We greatly enjoyed our four night stay on Carlow Island at this property. It was a quiet area, with plenty of beach, perfect for a family with children to explore. We had a wonderful time, collected a lot of sea glass, and biked down to Eastport and up along the down East sunrise trail into perry.

A prefect cozy cottage

The cottage was perfect for our family to stay in comfortably for the week. The yard is very spacious, with a large deck and beautiful views. the cottage is close to town while also very private and secluded. Kristen was an excellent host and was easy to communicate with.

Family fun

With three young kids we can find it hard to travel but this house was perfect! The beach was calm with fun rocks to explore. The yard was huge and almost left like it was fenced in with the beautiful meadow and bushes. The kids’ room even had some toys and books in it! Eastport was super close and we have a great trip. Hope to come back!

The host was absolutely amazing. We had a little hiccup in the beginning but was fixed immediately. The response was immediate to rectify the issue. It was a completely unforeseen problem a massive storm the day before arrival knocked out the power and the heat pump wouldn't start. It was honestly amazing to be able to look at the stars in the sky. It had breathtaking views from the private beach. It's only around 30 minutes to the border. You can actually see Canada from the back porch. It's only a short drive to the animal refuge. The most amazing part was only 15 minutes away going to the reversing falls. We definitely plan on staying again in the summer to go whale watching.
