This was the perfect place to stay while visiting Grand Haven. Close to both the beach and downtown area. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

We stayed two nights and it was very pleasant. The room was clean, provided enough towels, and access to the property was simple. Very convenient location and reasonable price. Others were in the house but it wasn’t too noisy which was appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect location, apartment is larger than what appears in photos. Beautiful historic building. Apartment was clean except for futon/pillows and smoke odor. Host offered to clean and remove odor but I declined due to our visit being so short. I would have preferred compensation. I planned on leaving a review regardless. Odor eventually dissipated after leaving the windows open 24/7. We chose to check out early.

Can’t beat the location and the convenience. Park right outside the house. The open floor plan combines your bedroom, sitting area, circular dining table, and kitchen, all in one. Great place to store your stuff while you explore Grand Haven.Communication with Eric the host was excellent. Quick response.There were a couple of hairs on the sink area, bathroom floor, and the comforter… And as I have borderline OCD, I didn’t like that. Maybe it’s hard for the house cleaner to get every single hair. Otherwise, it was a really nice stay.

Advertised as sleeps three, but the couch was inadequate for someone to sleep on. Limited extra linens provided.Bathroom toilet, flushes slow . Bathroom door, sticks, difficult to open and close.No temperature control in the unit.No luggage storage area or luggage racks.Good location to downtown area easy walking

We stayed in the 200-4 room May 7-10 2026. The property is easy to find, ample parking, the property is as described, GREAT LOCATION. We walked everywhere ... main street, the harbor, the pier, the beach ... just leave the car keys in the room. The unit had everything needed to dine in if we wanted to, the place is clean, the place was airy, the property was quiet (no renters in units 1,2,3 while we were there). If you have never been to Grand Haven, stay here, enjoy, and walk around and check it out. You'll be glad you did.

Overall, this was a decent stay. The room was very clean, but the room appeared to be more updated in the photos than what we experienced. Only a few "complaints," which I think are more things to just note about the property. The walls are very thin. If anyone enters the home & walks to their unit, we could hear every step they took. The shower was difficult to use as well. The curtain takes up a lot of space, and with the shower head directly above & in the middle, there's no way to get out of the steam of water other than to turn it off while shaving, etc. Also, the pillows were very flat, but we made due using some of the couch pillows.The location was excellent! We lived in Grand Haven before, and came back for a visit. This was perfect for being so close to downtown. Also, the unit was bigger than we expected, it is a very good sized space. Check out process was very easy.

Loved all the walks

This upstairs rental worked well for us and a short stay in Grand Haven. The location was perfect -- we could walk everywhere (and did). Everything in the unit was functional and I liked the open space. The owner was very responsive to our questions and always got back to us quickly with the couple of questions we had.

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it! You can walk into town for shopping and meals. The boardwalk is close where you can walk all the way to the lake if you’d like! Fully stocked kitchen where we made breakfast every morning. The couch is actually a futon that folds down. My son found it quite comfortable! Overall a great experience! Would definitely stay here again.

Couple minor negatives: Door could use weatherstripping and a sweep at bottom of door to help block large gaps.The shower curtain was difficut to keep water from getting out on sides. Needed to put towels there to protect.Location was convenient for walking around town. We definitely enjoyed that and our stay.

The space was very clean. The location is excellent for walking to restaurants and the waterfront. Good communication with owner. He is very responsive in a very short time. We really enjoyed our stay. This unit is upstairs, which wasn't a problem for us but if there are mobility issues it could be a problem. This is an older building with several private units. There is a lot of charm in these older homes.
