Enjoy Our Family Friendly Home In Tollgate

You've got to see this place. We have a whole wall of windows facing South with frequent small herds of deer visiting. Apple House is a 2 story house with the bedrooms on the second story (king, queen and full beds) and an open space overlooking the great room on the first floor. The kitchen is well equipped with new counter tops, sink, and faucet. Ironing boards and iron for you quilters and a table large enough to seat 6+ comfortably.
The home is heated and cooled with forced air and a beautiful propane fireplace supplies all the heat and ambiance a person could want. We have t.v./cable/wifi/netflix for those of you whose can't stare into the trees or fireplace for long periods of time. The properly also has an attached 2 car garage with a non-attached ping pong room. How can it get any better?
Ox Yoke is a very quiet drive and our lot backs onto the largest open space in Tollgate. Tollgate offers summer time amenities such as a pool, tennis courts, a common room for get togethers, walking/biking paths and a 2 mile walking and bike path to Sisters for your off highway experience.

This was our second time at this house for our annual family reunion in Sisters. Plenty of space to spread out, great location with lots of amenities such as the neighborhood pool, bikes, game room, etc. We will be back!

Another wonderful stay!

Our fourth stay here was the best. Enjoyed the newly renovated community pool and grounds, the well marked path into town and several local attractions. The house has all you need and is very spacious and comfortable. New deck was nice and young fawns in the yard a treat to watch.

Girls Trip

The house was just as described and very comfortable. The neighborhood was great and we really enjoyed riding the bikes along the bike paths. It was fun seeing all the deer especially the fawns. The kids really loved the pool and the littleplay area. The back deck is great. We enjoyed being able to BBQ and eat outside. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, spices, etc. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect Family Ski Trip

We loved staying in this house for our ski trip to Hoodoo. The host was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. The house was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. My husband had to take a couple lat minute work meetings remotely and the WiFi worked great for that.

Quiet and Restful stay

We loved our stay at the property. It is very quiet and the house was set up in a way that made you feel like you were at home. They had plenty to do if you just wanted to hang out in the house. The pool was a nice bonus.

Quiet retreat from busy times

We enjoyed our time here in the mornings and evenings after attending the Fairwell Music festival in Redmond. Good family times around the breakfast table and outdoor barbeque.

Apple house was perfect for our family of 4 and our friends family of 3. Very spacious with a great layout and spotlessly clean. We also loved the outdoor areas for relaxing and playing yard games. A great location. We will definitely be staying here again!

Vacation in paradise

Several of us quilting friends made our annual trek to Sisters for a week of sewing and the quilt show. Your home was perfectly located. Close to town but very private and quiet. We may have just found our forever home away from home

Originally from the the midwest, we've lived in Corvallis, OR for over 40 years. I'm a retired special ed. teacher and my husband is a architectural designer. We're both project junkies and love to travel. We've had a dream to have a place in Sisters for skiing and summer activities... you know the things that you are usually too busy to do unless you are away.

Why they chose this property

After looking for over a year in the area, we were lucky enough to find this particular house in the beautiful Tollgate community. We wanted real winter weather! And we have been so delighted with all the folks who have helped us out in Sisters. Great, open, friendly people.

What makes this property unique

As soon as we drove into the the driveway through the trees and saw the wall of glass facing South, we were hooked. The front door leading into the great room, fireplace, the layout of the house and the huge community open space in the back really hooked us. Then we explored the house, noting the detailing and care taken in building it.....really, really hooked.
