We had a lovely stay at this home near the west entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. It was clean and quiet and the hot tub was just the thing to relax after a day of hiking. Will stay again when we are back in the area. Highly recommend staying here!

The house is perfect for a family with kids, or just someone that has a dog (or both!). The location is a perfect distance from the park and downtown. The house is amazingly decorated, and has absolutely everything you could need to cook with in the kitchen. The backyard is fantastic, and has comfortable chairs to sit out and enjoy the beautiful night sky and weather. We could have easily stayed another week and still not seen all the great things. Check in was super simple, and the hosts are wonderfully responsive (and we only had simple questions, zero issues). My family would love to stay there again in the future, as it was the perfect combination of size, amenities, and location.

First off, the communicatiob with Lynn was top notch-very friendly, helpful, and personable. Check-in went without a hitch. My teo cattle dogs loved running around playing frisbee and ball in the backyard. The jacuzzi was awesome soaking in there at sunset was rejuvenating. You got a fireplace inside and a firepit outside which ai did some cooking on. There was all the amenities of home-great water pressure, instant hot water, filtered water at the kitchen sink, a crankin' ice maker, ping pong in the garage, washer & dryer, hiking down the street, lots ofbdvd's

First family trip to Joshua Tree. Perfect sized house for us, hot tub a big plus!! Very conveniently located near the western entrance to the park. Great star viewing at night while making smores in the fire pit. Quite comfy with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful family time in the desert

We had an incredible time relaxing at the beautiful property. We went on hiles nearby and enjoyed cookibg meals, playing Ping pong, watchibg DVDs (great collection!) and using the fanstastic hot tub. Enjoyed the outdoor área safely fenced for our toddlers. Thank you so much for a magical time!

Easy access to Joshua Tree

Clean and quiet. Everything we needed for meal prep was there - even sharp knives - something that many other hosts seem to overlook! Wish we had booked during the new moon phase to fully appreciate the stars.

Quiet, comfortable home near Joshua Tree

The house was exactly as listed on VRBO! It had everything we needed, was comfortable and nicely accommodated 4 adults and 2 children, ages 10 &11. The neighborhood was quiet and a short distance to the West entrance of the park. The ping pong table in the garage and the hot tub in backyard were enjoyable amenities. I would definitely recommend this place.

Cozy home

The house was just the right size for our family gathering: me and my husband, my sister and her 2 kids ages 9 and 6. We were close to the National Park and had an exciting scavenger hunt with the kids. The house had everything we needed for our stay - towels for the hot tub, ping pong, games, cards, and so much more. We loved this little house.

Perfect Location and Space

The La Mirada house was perfect for us and our visit to Joshua Tree. Our daughter and her toddler son joined my husband and me for a few nights and we had plenty of space, and yet the house still felt cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with all we needed for meal preparation. The hot tub was a nice bonus and easy to use. We loved our time at the La Mirada House and look forward to returning.

Last minute decision for an overnighter. Found this little gem. Great communication from the start. Very cute place with everything you need. Perfect Base for Exploring Joshua Tree Nat Park

First time visitor to Joshua Tree and this was a great location to access the park and local establishments. Can't say enough about the host's communication. It was in the 30's the night we arrived and there was no heat due to the pilot light being out. They sent a video showing how to light the pilot light on their home immediately and we had heat! We would stay there again when back in the area.

A great spacious and comfortable home

I came from the UK to meet my family here and we had a lovely time. The house was a relaxed and comfortable place to stay with lots of space for everyone. It had everything you might want, much more so than many other places I’ve stayed. It is a short drive to shops and a short walk to a beautiful nature preserve. The outside space is also very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and grown sons took our annual family trip and stayed here. We loved the location, view from back yard, all the various birds we saw and the peace & quiet. Lovely and comfortable house!

The house was very clean and welcoming as well as extremely well appointed. If you want a very comfortable, home feel while traveling, this was it. Lynn and Paul made the process very easy and at the end of a long day at Joshua Tree, it was lovely to come home too!
