En Cedarville Bay Paraíso náutico de 3 dormitorios / 2 baños

Esta ubicación fue el hogar de una tienda de barcos históricos propiedad de Burton Norton que construyó y restauró botes de madera clásicos junto a la bahía de Cedarville a principios de 1900. La casa de botes fue construida en la década de 1980 y cuenta con viviendas que ahora comprenden el alquiler disponible para que experimentes. La casa está decorada con un tema náutico y hay numerosos artículos náuticos, cuadros, etc. que adornan las paredes. Además, hay una gran cantidad de libros y revistas con temas náuticos y de otro tipo. Siguiendo con la historia y el tema náutico, las áreas de galera (cocina), cabezales (baños) y desorden (comedor) son compactas pero funcionales. En contraste, la sala de estar es abierta y espaciosa y muy abierta con la pared de ventanas corredizas de vidrio que se abren a la terraza y ofrecen una vista increíble.

¡El alquiler cuenta con vistas panorámicas del corazón de la Bahía de Cedarville y las Islas Les Cheneaux en una cubierta lateral del canal recientemente renovada en 2018! Las vistas desde la cubierta en el tercer nivel son magníficas, como se puede ver en algunas de las imágenes.

La unidad es de tres niveles con 3 dormitorios. En el primer piso, el dormitorio 1 tiene una cama doble y dos camas individuales, el dormitorio 2 tiene una cama doble y el baño en el primer piso tiene un baño completo. En el segundo piso se encuentra el dormitorio principal con una nueva cama de matrimonio. El área de dormir del segundo piso fuera del comedor tiene una cama de día y un baño completo en el segundo piso.

Tenga en cuenta que hay escaleras de caracol en esta unidad para llegar a las salas de estar de arriba. La tercera historia es realmente solo media historia sobre la segunda historia y está conectada por una escalera de caracol parcial.

The Boathouse contiene un resbalón cubierto / cubierto de 30x30 para cualquier persona que desee traer su bote. Se puede acceder al área del cobertizo desde una puerta exterior, así como desde una puerta en el primer piso.

Check in easy, host was very good and checked in to see how it was going. We’re aware of many things about the property. Front door very old worked with a skeleton key that you can only lock from the inside and door had to be opened with a good bump of the hip, upstairs floor slants, tiny kitchen, spiral stair cases, etc. While house was extremely unique enjoyed the oddities. However we felt that it was lacking in general upkeep of the facility. You know, little things that need fixing around the house.

We weren't sure what to expect from the photos, but chose this house because it is right on the water and is close to where our friends live. We are glad we did. The house is truly unique, with plenty of room for large groups, and the view is spectacular. We plan on coming back next summer.

Central location to many great destinations. Lovely home and amazing town full of friendly people. Beautiful views and space for all activities at the house. Water is nice and the view at night of the stars is something to behold. We all love going as a group and cant wait for the next trip.

Great stay

Very nice spot, deck was amazing, antiques and old maps were added bonus. We rented a pontoon one day and used the boat house. It was handy. Only drawback- I would invest in new mattresses for downstairs rooms but everything else was good. Thanks for a memorable trip.

Great deck

Lots of space. Great location. Great deck, view and gas fire pit. Great washer and dryer. The windows hadn’t been washed in a long time and were covered with spiders and dozens of large spider nests. This is an easy fix. Bring extra drinking water, as water from facet isn’t safe to drink. Owners were responsive.

Beautiful Views, but Major Issues with the House

The views from the deck are stunning, and the hosts generously provided propane for the grill and firepit. However, several issues detract from the stay. The dock shown in the photos is not part of the property, and this isn’t disclosed until after booking. The interior is functional but doesn't quite match the expectations set by the pictures. Issues included blinds in the kitchen that couldn’t be closed, missing electrical outlet covers, a non-functional upstairs shower due to leaking into the downstairs bathroom, and a leaking kitchen sink requiring towels to be placed underneath. Additionally, the fridge froze most of our food, and the controls were missing. The water for the house is pumped from the lake, which we were only informed of after a water outage. The hosts were responsive and came to adjust the pump, but the lack of notice was frustrating. The house itself noticeably slants, especially on the third floor. While the views are indeed beautiful, the price doesn't justify the many hazards and inconveniences. Lastly, communication was inconsistent, with multiple check-in sheets listing different contacts. The hosts were friendly and responsive to issues, but we won’t be returning despite the town and scenery being exceptional.

Location and View is Amazing

Our family gathered for a very special get together honoring a passed loved one. The deck and view is out of this world. Super responsive to inquiries and needs of water, propane and trash needing attention. We managed fine; but it's a 3 story accessible with 2 sets of stairs/ could be difficult with someone compromised. Kitchen could use a little sprucing up/ liners in cabinets and some updated cookware-. Will absolutely stay here again as the deck and boathouse are an incredible gem for this area!

Amazing amount of nautical history at this home! The location is great and the the deck overlooking the bay is absolutely the best part of the home. The boat garage is a close second ... so cool to dock boat right inside the house! would highly recommend to bring a boat, or rent one... the Les Cheneaux Islands are and awesome place to boat & fish.

Great location and view

The location and view were amazing. The house could use some cleaning and updates. Even a power wash to the outside and removal of the abandoned vehicle would have made a great difference.
