Great location, good for families
We travelled to Rome for Christmas, and this apartment was perfect. You can walk everywhere -- it's very close to the Piazza Navona, and has a good combination of local life and tourist amenities within close distance. Considering the age of the neighborhood, I was pleased with the apartment facilities -- the heating worked well, there was always plenty of hot water, and there was a dishwasher and a washing machine. There were a few quirks, but as expected in an older house, and Enrica welcomed us and explained everything very carefully. She was always available to answer any questions we had. I would highly recommend this place.
Great location, hot in summer
This apartment is very quirky and fun in a great location. Check-in was easy and the immediate neighborhood has everything you'd need for a stay in terms of food etc. The only thing that drops it from 5 stars is the description saying that no AC "because special position on ground floor makes it cool", the apartment it August reached above 28C (82F) and was very humid. In the evenings it was cooler outside for many hours before it approached the outside temperature. Admittedly they say there is no AC, but the statement that it is cool I'd quibble with. Therefore I'd give this 5 stars for the rest of the year, but be aware that cool is a relative term and it might not be comfortable for a family in the hottest parts of the summer. I'd highly recommend this place at any other time of the year.
Amazing stay in heart of Rome
This apartment is really special, the design and furnishings really lovely. Even in the heat of summer it stayed quite cool being on the ground floor. The check in and out process was great, and the recommendations given to us for places to eat, and things to see were 100% perfect. Those little details helped make our stay wonderful and memorable - for all the right reasons. Would definitely stay here again, and fully recommend.
Artist's Loft in Best Roman Neighborhood
Spent a wonderful four days in this spacious, comfortable, and creatively decorated artist's loft in the best, most lively and conveniently located neighborhood! So comfortable and cool in the summer heat. And on the ground floor so no wrestling bags upstairs!
Communications and check-in experience could not be better!! Thank you, Miss Erica, for your kind welcome and excellent advice on neighborhood restaurants! We hope to stay here again on our next visit to Rome!!!
Wonderful and original apartment!
Valentina’s apartment could not have been more central or accommodating to our two families! She was very easy to communicate with and the apartment had everything we needed. The apartment itself and the decor were fantastic and wonderfully original. It was very big and allowed ample room to congregate or separate when needed. The restaurant next door was terrific and allowed us to have a late dinner while the kids were safely inside the apartment. It was also surprisingly quiet given its excellent location. I would definitely recommend this apartment to any large (or small) group! Thank you Valentina for being a great hostess and opening up your home to us!
Live like a Roman in the historical downtown, near some of the city’s most desirable attractions. You’ll be a three minute walk from Navona Square and 10 minutes from both Saint Angel Castle, the Pantheon Temple and Saint Peter Church. Distance walking also from the Spanish steps, the Roman Fore and the Trevi Fountain. You’ll find all around you charming and fashionable shops, typical restaurants, folkloristic markets, many museums, and beautiful Lybrary (such as the Chamber of Deputy one or the House of Literatures).
Anything else you might want to get to near or far is easily reachable being so close to every transportation option: a taxi station (this is 1 minute far from the house), city buses, the blue and orange subway lines, and Termini railway station (with the bus terminal to Fiumicino Airport).
