Hi! I was born and raised in the beautiful Bahamas, and I feel so lucky to call this place home. One of my absolute favorite things about living here is the beach—the soothing sound of the waves, the feel of the sand, and especially the stunning aqua colors of the ocean that seem to change with every hour of the day. It never gets old.

I also love the vibrant colors you see everywhere—on our buildings, in our flowers, and in the energy of our people. Bahamian culture is full of warmth, flavor, and life. And don’t get me started on the food—there’s nothing quite like a plate of cracked conch or a bowl of steaming peas and rice. It’s comfort, joy, and tradition all in one bite.

Hosting gives me the chance to share a little piece of my island life with others. I love helping guests experience the things that make the Bahamas so special—from breathtaking sunsets to delicious meals to the simple peace that comes from being near the sea. I hope when you visit, you fall in love with this place just like I did.

We chose this neighborhood out West because of how incredibly convenient and peaceful it is. We’re just about five minutes from the airport, which makes arrivals and departures a breeze. If you’re renting a car, there’s even a rental service, Thaddeus, right between the airport and the Sunset Cove apartment units—super easy and stress-free.

One of the best parts of this location is that it’s close to everything you need, without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle. The grocery store is only a 15-minute walk or a quick five-minute drive away, which is great for picking up anything you need during your stay.

We’re also ideally positioned to get downtown Nassau and Paradise Island—just a short drive to enjoy restaurants, shops, historical sites, or a beach day at Cabbage Beach. It’s the perfect balance: you get access to all the fun of the city and the beauty of the island, while still being able to return to a quiet, oceanfront retreat.

What I enjoy most is the calm and comfort that comes with being here. You’re close to everything but still feel like you’re on your own private island escape.

What makes this property truly special is its unbeatable oceanfront location and the incredible west-facing view. Every evening, you’re treated to breathtaking sunsets that light up the sky with vibrant colors—it’s like a painting that changes daily.

Another unique feature is that the apartment sits right on natural rock, placing you literally on the edge of the ocean. It’s not just close to the beach—it actually owns the beach right next door. At low tide, you can walk for nearly a mile along the shore, taking in the stunning white sand, smooth rock formations, and peaceful waves.

Whether you want to relax, take a refreshing dip, or go snorkeling, the water is right there waiting for you. The salt air, the sound of the ocean, and the beauty of the surroundings make this place more than just a stay—it’s an experience. There’s a sense of calm and connection to nature that’s hard to find anywhere else.
